Nope, mine is pure google, no O2 bloat.
Upgraded my o2, £15.50 for 24 months and £179 for phone.
Went to cancel OH's o2 as she doesn't use it anymore, was offered £26 for 12 months and £172 for the phone. I took the offer with intent on cancelling the first one, buy may just sell it on the bay. Undecided
You can always play with android beam in the mean time.

Does anyone know why i don't have an email app icon? Only a gmail one? I've added my ntl email account ok in the settings but I have no way to view / send email from that account?

I have the email app.
Perhaps it's like the google earth missing app issue, and a factory reset MIGHT fix it, but that's me just guessing.
It should be there:
If not do a factory reset. My Google Earth went for a walkabout at some point.

Doh, hadn't found the app screen yet! Only the google folder on the desktop. Got it now, cheers!

Edit: Although now I have another problem it seems. When I use the sync button, any emails in my in box disappear.

You'll quickly get used to it. I was with IOS for just over 2 years and adjusted within a few days.
So I logged in to my account ( dont have card yet ) and switched data bolt on off
Basic bolt-on is 100MB for £3 a month..if you switch it off, they give you 50MB per day for free 50MB for basic internet browsing/emails is fine ...still....I bought GN to use it with new 3 sim card

) and i'm starting to get the hang of things a bit more Still not sure why my email disappears when I sync it though
