What film did you watch last night?

Super 8.

Thought it was cack tbh.

Watched this as well. I enjoyed it actually, really nice throw back and feel to the film, couldn't fault much, story was much better than your Average Joe monster flick.

I'd give it a 7.5, would have got an 8 if there wasn't so much overuse of 'Lense Flare' every 3 seconds. Didn't really make sense in the context and theme of the film as it was meant to look like a classic.

Wrong Turn 4.

Some proper sick **** :p
I'm not going to spoil it for anybody who hasn't seen it I'm just gonna say **** me that is some sick ****. :p

The thing 2011, I never watched the original and watched this without knowing what to expect. A few scene had what i would call some dodgy acting and I was not that convinced at the start. But the special effects were absolute amazing and I had nightmares after watching it. I had to watch the original so i watched that the next day which was actually quite good because it was set after the new one.

2011, 7/10
1982, 6/10

Atlas Shrugged part 1.

I have never read ayn rand so i did not know what to expect. I thought it was a very interesting story but the actor playing the brother (never liked him) was terrible and one or two scenes with the lead female was poorly done and i was not convinced. In general i thought it was worth a watch when you look past the poor acting. It had some excellent scenes, good shots and a lot of effort was put in to some of the scenes. But i could not help get that B movie feel, which was a shame because the story is excellent.

story 9/10
scenes 7/10
acting 4/10

overall 5/10

Really looking forward to watching Rampart, Woody Harrelson's new bad cop movie - Looks epic!

Watched Horrible Bosses.

Complete turkey. Apart from Jennifer Aniston being real slutty & walking around half naked for a large portion of the movie.

Unfortunately it takes more than that to make me enjoy a movie. 2/10

That's just JJ Abrams being an idiot, he loves stuff like that.

Drive - 4/10 Sorry, it just wasn't for me. Some beautifully shot parts but Ryan Gosling just didn't convince me even though the other characters seemed to show some meat in their parts. I didn't like the sound track that much and like someone else mentioned the 10sec pauses between speaking just got annoying.

Will disagree with the above although I can understand why people don't like it.

Drive - 9/10 Film just works for me, visual style, soundtrack I thought was superb. Can probably say the film is similar to Collateral in feel and visuals. Although I think maybe 10/15 minutes could have been trimmed I thought Gosling was fantastic and the scenes of violence were so much more effective because of the limited dialogue. Probably won't see another film like this in hollywood for a while.

Sex Drive - 7/10 most films like this are fairly terrible but this one although not being anything special did have some really funny 'bits'. Rumspringer!!!

some one recommended this too me,, i nearly fell asleep watching it, its like watching a silent movie with all the loooooooong gaps between talking

Just got back from seeing Moneyball, absolutely fantastic film about sport that doesn't actually show much sport and isn't packed full of cliches. Brad Pitt really shows what a good actor he is too.
