And why is BF3 so special that I need adjust my router for it yet nothing else is?

A few weeks ago I was able to play all week without any issues :( Now suddenly it doesnt work?

I've tried turning UPNP off but now it doesnt seem to bother joining any games at all, just gets stuck on 'Loading Level'.

Better to just get rid of IRNV altogether.

Use the spec ops camo if you have it, makes it a lot harder to see you. If not, use smoke grenades. If not, hide behind rocks. If not, don't run around in the open.

Yes but atleast with IRNV I am constantly scanning my surroundings even while hiding in the bush and many times I have taken down enemies before they had the chance to shoot at me. Call it 'enhanced alert mode' :p

If neither me nor enemy has IRNV, then atleast this provides more balanced gameplay in that we will both have difficulty in tracking each other especially when far away and this would make it more challenging in going after each other and it is this challenge that provides fulfillment in this game.

If you keep getting killed in a certain way then you probably need to change your tactics.

Yeah yeah , I can empty a full clip into someone at point blank range then before I can switch to my pistol they nail me with their super weapon as they've put 200 hours in to level up.

Or I get nailed with an IRNV

This game is about unlocks and weapons ... if it isn't then why do the high scoring players use all the tools.... would they score the same without

Aim at the head.

You probably quit games when you get to the first boss, rather than work out how to beat it. The higher levelled players use their unlocks because they can and they've earnt them. I moved to engineer recently and managed to do quite well with the first gun with no attachments. If you can't win a fight head-on with other players then why not run around behind them and shoot them all in the back of the head?

Disable uPnP in your router settings

If you disable uPnP, you need to manually forward ports on your router. That's why it's not letting you into a game. :)

Got somewhat annoyed tonight, flying about in the choppers and just before i get a lock on the square just vanishes and the other heli didnt deploy thier flares, happened 4 times tonight :mad:
 
Just realised how useless the stinger now is :( and how jets can't even take out the Mobile AA anymore.

What have they done!!?
