The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I still can't get beyond the launcher box, just get the message the game is launching then returns to the box. Just as well if the patch has borked things as people are reporting.

Go into Steam and verifty the integrity of the game cache (go to the library, right-click on the game, click Properties). If your EXE was changed by a mod (4GB Skyrim or LAA) then it loops the launcher until you go into Steam and do that. After doing so, you need to re-apply whichever one of those mods you were using.

LAA semeed to continue working fine for me with 1.1 (after re-downloading it) and I assume will continue to work with 1.2 although for now I've left it disabled.

I haven't noticed any particular problems after updating *touches wood*
 
Hi, how do use shouts om this game? i got the first one and when i select it from the inventory, it doesnt apply it and therefore cant use it? i notice that when its highlighted from the inventory menu, at the bottom right hand corner it says 0 dragon souls? what does this mean? do i need to get dragon souls? if so, how? i need to use the shout on a quest where i got to use and demonstrate this shout ability to someone from High Hrothgar.

the shout ability is called unrelenting force.

Not sure for kb user but on 360 controller it's RB but you can look in the controls in the menu.

You have to equip it and the shout keys default is Z. You get dragon souls by killing dragons and they are used to unlock different shouts that are found throughout the game
 
Absolutely loving this game, just spoke to the night woman in the dark brotherhood, she spoke to me in the tomb and jester caught me :O.

Ive been told im allowed to go meet the person she told me to meet now, really love killing people for money in this game.
 
If you have modded your game and are having issues with latest patch, are you suprised?

There is known issues with moddeds and this patch. In fact it broke them. This was known BEFORE the patch was released by the way.

If you havent modded anything and it is straight out the box config, then I feel your pain.

Havent seen any issues here fortunately.
