Its time for the BBC to sack Clarkson?

The truth of it is teachers need to get their pensions dragged down in line with the rest of the world. The majority of teachers are compeltely incapable of doing anything else.
The miners had very long strikes in the 1980s and that got them nowhere.

What Clarkson said was very wrong, but he is right. The public sector's pensions need cutting to pieces just like everyone elses.

He's very good on top gear IMO, although most of the other stuff he does is pretty bad. And he can go over the top sometimes.

Also the BBC must get a lot of money from other channels running top gear, and theres no way it would be anywhere near as popular without Clarkson. So in a strange sorta way he pays for himself ;)

What we really need, is much stricter controls on what can and cannot be broadcast, with all scripts being vetted by a government authority, and a complete cessation of live broadcast. That way, we can prevent this from ever happening again.

Oh, and while we are at it, television presenters will be required to wear a proper collar and tie, and speak in a proscribed manner.

I understand your point, I just think you're taking it slightly too far having to bitch to us about it for 5 pages.

Be offended by all means, as you said it's your right, but be offended in your own house, in your head, keep it to yourself man. Why is is so difficult for you to understand my concept? I hate X-Factor, thus I do everything possible to avoid watching it, I'm not going to come on here and bitch about how bad I think it is

Oh really

Anybody who goes on X-Factor or Britain (hasn't)Got Talent and fails should be put to death. They're both stupid shows full of diluded people who think they can sing.

I know I can't sing, therefore I don't sing in public. Some of the people I see on that show must be under hypnosis or deaf or something. Come to think of it, I'd rather see a deaf person sing, at least it would be entertaining (no offence)

:D:p;):)

I would argue that Clarkson is not worth 1 million a year. Hence why I think he should be sacked.

I hate him,

He's offensive ,unfunny and out of touch with reality.

Question to the OP: If you hate him so much, why did you watch him on TV last night instead of immediately exercising your right not to watch him by turning the TV over to one of the myriad other channels we have nowadays?

Is it perhaps because you are one of these moaning ninnies who watch stuff they know they don't like just to provide themselves with an opportunity to moan about something perhaps........?

Loleasyrider. Sacked because he gets paid too much.

Your rational mind doesn't allow you to consider the option of a pay cut then? You're no better than these ranting unionists.

He's worth what people are willing to pay him. Why sack one of the BBC's best presenters? Just because he made a joke and people found it offensive wow, big deal.

How long were you waiting to pull me up on that? lol

Ok, substitute X-Factor for a crappy BBC show, my point still stands. STFU and change the channel if you don't like whats on

I recognised your name in the xfactor thread and you bitching about it. and I thought hhmmmm I wonder..

Light hearted fun my friend..:p

Don't be offended please. I don't want sacking. After all you can always click the X in the top right...:D

No...I pay for it...So I shall exercise my right to complain.

If show on BBC is crap then I change channel. But not this time...This was out of order Broadcasting.

Sack him!

He was playing to the 80% + of people that aren't in the public sector. Seems like a winning formula to me. Although also dangerous, as there are millions that might indeed complain given the sensitive nature.

The only offensive part to me (I didn't watch it), was that he said "..in front of their families".
