Well I hate loads of people on the BBC,there's plenty who make stupid comments and these people are on the news and should know what they are talking about. Do I think they should be sacked, of course not.

This isn't the first time he has said such things, did you want him sacked when he targeted other groups?

I would have no issue with what he said or says if it is after 9pm

But that's his "style", just listen to him lately on Top Gear, he's got even more outlandish with the crap he comes out with. (Obviously you don't watch it, so you wouldn't).. and tbh.. he's probably just fallen into the 'same routine'. (But perhaps I'm being naive and it was plain old planned to say).

You'd also have to consider who he does columns for, and where that political allegiance stands ;-)

I bet the one show get more viewers next week, especially if clarkson is on again ROFL.

IMO they should abolish the watershed, I'm 24, if I want to watch porn/uncensored TV at 9am why shouldn't it? just follow in Sky's footsteps, they passworded the movie channels.

If prude parents want to sugarcoat things for their kids, they can lock out all the channels except Cbeebies.

I ****ing hate censorship, it's up to the parents to decide what is right for their kid, not anyone else

If your kids watching a kids show and a big penis was shown, you'd probably have something to say about that. Then I'd just say "change channel if you don't like it".

I do note that it would have been much better to air his opinion without suggeting such drastic measures. But then.. that's just not him is it. As they say, any publicity is good publicity :rolleyes:
