i've just got hold of a third gtx470 to put in sli with my other 2.now is my corsair hx1000 going to be ok to run these on my system in my sig???

Tom's basically says that the worst case scenario is about 368w per card of the GTX 470, so in this case you wouldn't have enough grunt, however there might be some other and better case studies...

mind you is that the x2 500W corsair power supply? in which case youll want two cards on one rail and the other card + system on the other rail?
