Had a really painful day today without the OTA fix. Volume kept dropping and the phone spazzed out and locked up due to it. Still no update. I am on O2, so would that have something to do with it? Seems like 3 and Orange are getting the update first.....?

Yep, on O2 here with a phone bought sim free from O2 and still no damn patch

O2 just unlocked my phone for free!!!!! Filled in a form on their website, week and a bit later i get the email with a code. Used it and it worked with a voda sim. Yeyy.

Check the build number, the fixed one is ITL41F.

I'm on Vodafone and still no update. I'd install it myself but need the phone all night tonight, so I might give it a crack tomorrow.

They should have just applied the update to everyone at once. I seriously doubt this phone is popular enough to cause a strain on the servers, especially when the patch is only 1mb!

I can't see why they’re doing it so slowly. Nexus OS upgrades have been much faster than this. Still no sign of it here.

Yeh i'm starting to get fed up with waiting. If it doesn't come tomorrow i might be tempted to try doing it myself. This rollout is a complete joke.

I didn't even have to think twice, the nexus is a far better phone for me. Fantastic screen, superior design, latest android os and no touch wiz rubbish. Depends what you want from a phone though at the end of the day.

well i sold my SGS2 for this and have no regrets even though i had the volume bug since launch! (fixed now incase u are unaware)
