£199 for the handset (-£90 via Quidco) - £109

TCO - £454 over 12 months.

EDIT: It's actually £50 cashback for 12 month contract, so TCO - £494.

Pretty, pretty good I reckon.....

Probably not now that the Quidco cashback is less than I originally thought. Still OK I reckon, so just about to order. Hopefully Vodafone will still have it in stock, or get some new stock PDQ. The talk on the Vodafone eforum is that they only had 37 handsets yesterday...

don't count your chickens on quidco, still waiting for £75 from 14months back!!

and waiting for the £90 (TCB) from April for my SGS2 contract ! (which i paid up)

PS still no update baaaaaaaah!
 
As long as I get it back, I'm not complaining, be it a few weeks or 12 months!:D

Placed the order, now just got to sit and wait....
 
had a go on one today , fantastic phone ,love it ,can't wait must have it .

just a couple of things i'd like to know if anyone can help please .
Is there anyone moving up from htc desire to Galaxy Nexus, tell me if there is t9 predictive texting and text wrap or whatever they call it when you are reading text on the browser

did not have enough time to check it out myself ,

Its a great phone, love mine in spite of the volume bug. You can double tap to wrap the text in the browser. Predictive text works everywhere except in the browser for some reason. Slightly annoying so hope they fix that soon.

something strange.. dont know if someone can help me...

if i send a long txt it changes the format to MMS... is there a way to change this so it splits the txt as 2? because the person is sent the message to doesnt have mms set up on their phone

Ha, Just as well I'm on Orange as I still don't have the update.

Got Google Music working though. It's rather good. Will be even better when fully launched in the Uk and can buy music from Market. Just uploading all my music, which takes ages!

Good that the App is built into ICS even if technically only US residents should be using it.

Another plus for the Nexus

Got my nexus finally and very impressed. I finally see what people mean when they say ICS feels more complete and polished. Widgets look great and apps look polished
Had to root and manually flash volume fix but root was only a matter of time anyway :D

All in all, highly recommended
