The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

i think there's a console command to automatically complete quests.

yeah here we go http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)

SetStage <id> - Used to set the quest stage (Useful for bugged quests), for given quest ID (use command ShowQuestTargets for IDs). Common usage is to add 10 to the stage number given to advance past a bugged portion of a quest.

yeh the console command is not advised as it bugs out other quests too :(
but i did get around it last night by reloading a save just before the 'ice wraith mission' killing it then literally spamming E on one of the characters for about 1minute until it triggered the speech i needed...not ideal, I hear its even more bugged on the 360 so I guess I have that to be thankful for.

The LAA has really made a difference, thanks! Performance hasn't really improved and the stutter is still there (I am using about 1GB of high res texture mods), but I haven't crashed once since using it!!

any one help, im stuck with a quest, im ment to meet that guy in the rat run, but hes still stood in the market? what am i dont wrong :S

Can anyone tell me what these are?

Can somebody with a single GTX 580 (stock) give me a pic or reccomendations on settings? The stock "scan" of my system set a load of things up to medium? I usually just max everything out and assume it will be fine with my current rig (GTX 580 + 2500k + 8gig RAM) but this is the first intense game I've played in a while. I only play at 1680x1050.

I ran into Krosis the first time when I was around level 14 or so. I had only used the fast travel to get to a nearby dungeon. There was a dragon there so I fought it, only for Krosis to pop up out of seemingly nowhere and proceed to totally obliterate me and Lydia with fireballs. I didnt stand a chance against him

I want back about 20 levels later and chopped his head off :D

Hmm, quest fail apparently, but is this the way it was always going to be?

There's an 'X' you can see next to the quest title, and when I went to collect the horn from the statues hand, it was a handwritten note instead, and an on screen message said' quest failed'. I had done lots of other quests since being given this one, so would I have had the horn had I done it earlier or is this the intention of the game? Not come across any failed quests so far apart from this one.

I don't think you can avoid failing that quest.

I had my first real challenge, forging the 3 amulets together and having to fight the three brothers. Good fun, i actually died a few times and had to use all my extras i hold onto. Thought id have to fight the father for a few seconds, but sadly and happly i didnt have too.

Yeah that was a tough battle. Took me many attempts to get all 3 of them down.
