SMS is converted to MMS when it takes more than 3 messages... REALLY annoying as I get SMS for free but not MMS. Last phone combined 6 SMS. I don't want to use a third party SMS app as I actually like the simple stock one (apart from this "feature").
 
Facebook notifcations seem to be working perfectly now. Better than they ever have for me on any android phone. Not too sure why as ive not updates anything... still cant sync mind you...

I will be using handcent sms then

fair enough, god knows what you would be writing at that length, take it to email :D with these modern phones, its not offensive to break the text into a few msg's as 90% of phones these days display as a gtalk/msn conversation style

^ ooh, therefore the SGN has the potential to save me texts [and typing time?] and therefore get a smaller contract @cheaper price? ...great excuse.. "the phone wont let me!" :D

Well reflux, pauls rom didn't work either it wouldn't use a keyboard like it didn't install.
