I have two issues that I am hoping that you guys can help me with:

Anyone having issues where the name of callers that are saved in your phonebook don't display when receiving a call?

Anyone know how to turn off notifications for the Facebook app?

i dont get any notifications on facebook, i have it as sync nothing, u sure they are not email notifications?

as for contacts, are they all on gmail or on the phone. i strongly recommend shifting all to gmail and mange there

Change the settings on the actual site.
 
Still no patch for me yet, im on o2. The annoying thing is I work in an o2 store and got my nexus on day of release, yet still no patch while at the same time the live demo unit we have on the shop floor got it days ago :confused: anyway apart from the volume bug which for some reason seems to be getting progressively worse and the fact my nexus wont sync with facebook for whatever reason, its an absolutely lovely phone and im overjoyed moving from an iphone 4 to this.

i told them that my phone keeps crashing... everytime i open apps it crashes and i got to restart the phone...

but on the real.... it honestly does crash a few times... if i open camera for example. it says unexpected error google.camera closed or something like that...:confused:

im trying to find a leather pouch but not one with a open top something that closes... any one recommend any?

if i want to have a custom ringtone i put the music file into the ringtone folder? can it be mp3?

just put a song in there and i cant see the song to select under the ringtone options.. ive even rebooted the phone?

Yea, which is why I spent over a week agonizing over it and kept asking ppl on here how they were finding it etc :p

I don't want to be tied into a 24 contract since i'm not entirely sure if i'll be in the country in 6 months time. I also do like the flexibility of being able to switch contracts as and when I like (even if I don't do it that often) and being sim free was imp. Not a massive issue this time around as many of the operators were giving sim free but still.

And hell, was my birthday about 10 days ago so a treat :p

Works fine for me - maybe there's a song length limit? I've got small mp3 files in the Ringtone folder...
