Up to 138,000 coins now. Got a Gareth Bale in my other pack which sold for 35,000, the same as Maicon who went for 35K! I've got:
  • IF Tremoulinas
  • IF Guarin
  • IF Fernandez
  • IF Pepe
  • SIF Giroud
  • Palladino (Serie A silver striker)
  • Van Wolfswinkel
  • Sakho

Hopefully they'll raise enough for me to carry on building a half decent La Liga team. :)
 
Right got rid of that useless PoS. I'm just awful with 433 really. Back to a good old 4411 premiership. Any good CM's? Got Mereiles and Fletcher so far. Got 15k to splash too.

Oh... I didn't get those in packs, they were already in my trade pile. :D

In my packs I got a load of crap players then Maicon and Bale. Still waiting for these damn IF's to sell. It's too tempting to put them up for 150 start when you get frustrated from them expiring. :mad:

Personally I'd never discard, even if I sold at only 1,000-2,000 more than the discard price I'd rather have those couple of thousand coins in my pocket.

EDIT: Is Di Maria worth the extra coins over Reyes? I always found Reyes to be solid, and then Jesus Navas as a worthy replacement for him when fatigue kicked in. You can get both of those for less than the price of one Di Maria, just wondered if he was any good? Also every CM seems to be obscenely priced in the 4-3-3 formation! I'm talking 4,000+ for rubbish like Biscuits.

I loved Falcao before but I've put a 9,000 bid in for Benzema, not sure if that's too much or not? I will get Nilmar at some point as well but just wondering what the better players are without breaking the bank, I've got only 147,000 to improve the team and I don't want to blow it all.

The players are more expensive I imagine because they will have been converted from CDM>CM so people try recoup their money back.

Di Maria I really like, found him the best for RW but I know others will disagree!

Yeah that's a fair point, I always try and consider the costs of converting a player to the CM position before I buy them, and the frustrating thing about 4-3-3, 4-4-2 and other formations that use CM's is that they cost so much to be converted into. I'm considering buying the much cheaper CAM or CDM players in the correct formation and just playing them with a dark green boot. Even though it annoys me a lot knowing that they aren't in the "correct" position.

I would never discard if I could make 500 coins or so but I was just wondering if Sonny did for his IF Fred as he said he was crap. If he was crap Fred shouldn't sell so might as well discard. ;)

I bought Benzema like a month and a half ago for 10.5k so I would say he's not worth it but guess the Messi Cup has raised the La Liga players prices up. Munian(LW) and Moral(CF) are great squad players too.

Ah thanks, got any more players that I should look out for? I desperately need another CM to play alongside IF Borja Valero and Diego, he needs to be defensive preferably though. I was thinking Masch though his 4-3-3 CM price is INSANE, 17,000 and upwards from what I can see. :mad:

There's a CDM Mascherano in 3412 formation going for 11k, I picked up 2 CDM>CM cards at around 2am for 350 and then you can get a 433 card? If too expensive you could just get a 4312 card (<1k) and you could get Chem 9 if he's on the left side of the CM.

Could also go for the cheaper option of Kheidra or Lass Diarra?
