The world has gone post apocalyptic: What skills do you bring to the table?

Ive had some survival training and can cook pretty much something from nothing.
Rational.
Little fear.
Brilliant at talking to anyone.
Woman would want to mate with me.
I have an Alpha tache!
 
An utterly ruthless will to survive (if that really honestly happened id have no problems killing many people who would take resources that I would need) with unmatched common sense and some fairly advanced (compared to joe bloggs) scientific knowledge of the environment.

Id be reet. ;)
 
I would get to work, theorising a new political order. I would also be able to farm, cook and hopefully lift people's spirits with my music.
 
Natural born leader... that's me. New world leader?

As well as back to basics survival in hunting, creating shelter, cooking, can deal with most mechanics.

Sounds quite fun!
 
Farmer, so I have some pretty good base survival skills.
also have shotguns and a rifle.
Can ride and break in horses.
mechanical skills
 
If there is anyone here who can fish then I can gut, fillet and cook the fish. I am skilled in the meat trade so anything that needs doing to a cow, lamb, chicken and pig I'm your man.

No, yes, yes, yes.

Could do the first if absolutely necessary, but would not particularly like to.

All the rest, I am a chartered engineer and would apply that with common sense and engineering principles.

Repair bridges and buildings etc.
 
I'd take all the money out of the safes of the now, non existent banks, and start a new bank with good rates of borrowing to start money circulating again. (In local currencies). I'd also get communications reestablised with my immense knowledge of the Fourier Transform.

Money would have little value in a post-apocalyptic scenario....what a religion would give me is power and control, far more useful things.

Although individually I have extensive survival skills, proven ability to survive and flourish in some of the most extreme terrain and conditions in the world. I can track, hunt, trap, and prepare wild animals for food as well as ancillary uses such as preparing tallow and clothing, have a reasonable knowledge of what flora/fauna is safe to eat and what should be avoided. I have a certain amount of skill in various offensive and defensive fighting techniques, also a reasonable knowledge of tactical and strategic planning, both in the local short-term and in the overall long-term theatre. I can fashion various weapons from scratch, as well as having extensive weapons training and experience in conventional personal and heavy weapons. I can drive just about anything, can start a fire, read a map, use a compass, deal with minor injuries including sutures, build a shelter in most situations and terrains, build and maintain a water still, have a fair knowledge of medicinal plants etc.....and so on.

I suspect that I should be just fine........:p

Still, it would be safer with a horde of religious fanatics protecting me, less hard work also.....

I'd be able to rebuild the BACS and trading infrastructure required for the new economy!

I have a feeling I might have to join Castiel's religion...
