I think the ping is showing relative to you, hence why yours is 0 or "-". Just like F1 when the leader's lap time is shown as "interval" and everyone else a split of that.

It's a poor implementation in an online game, but then so long as you aren't lagging out then I can't say I care tbh.

Nope, probably just the usual Dice bugs. Two other players had - for ping, in a game I played yesterday. And everyone will tell you the same ping time when asked, so that is your theory disproven.
 
Creed: Ok, ta for the info. :)

When i was on playing and on my mumble last night apparently my ping was holding steady at 8ms, and i dont really seem to be having any issues, so tbh i probs wont bother messing with it. :)

Regarding the caspian tower falling, I saw it go last night, I was in the moile AA and shooting at a jet in that direction, may have been me hitting it or the jet hitting it but I believe it auto falls near the end of the round.
Whilst on the subject of mobile AA...OMG I actually took down four jets using the missiles last night on one map and that's NEVER happened before, may be because of the longer flare reload time I hope.

Also no more bf3.exe has stopped responding on the first map of the day.

BUT....why have they taken away the green squad chat text....it was the only chat I would look at.

I never even looked in my settings to see whts changed and having just read about the joystick controller support, I am hoping that I can finally configure BOTH analogue sticks on my gamepad controller.....one to try later when I get in.

For helicopters I use keyboard and mouse combo. I am rather pro at helicopter flying, despite what many might say. Jets on the other hand.....well...I can't hit a barn door in the jets. It's a waste of time....got 100 points in total after hours of flying about and getting killed. Just can't get the hang of it at all.
 
Whats the general consensus on the interpolation setting? Is that the right name? The new networky setting :)

Do we still die after running behind cover?

A good heli pilot is only as good as their gunner.;)

Will need to get my BF3 name AncientMethods changed to Scamartist anybody know how easily this can be done?

Especially on Siene, its sex for the IRNV... Bazzar less so as you get that stupid dust cloud or something blowing around.

Not tried it on Tehran but I can still see it being fine for A-B or C-D... the nomansland in the middle might be a bit of a pain though, more of a scope to see who is where and then plan a route.... and Metro I hardly ever play.

Yes it does. My Battlefield 3 is listed as Battlefield 3 - Russia - Extended Version. I'm not sure if it has always said extended rather than limited.

If they are right behind me currently i enjoy pulling back to get some height (im usually flying very low) , then invert and then pull back all the way to 180... if they are a bit behind you like you suggest then i would suggest dive to the ground, hit the afterburners and try and get behind something (hill, buildings) then do a sharp turn so you leave cover from an unexpected direction
