Ive only played the new patch for literally 5 minutes just now, but me and someone else just managed to kill each other. Never had it happen before, a result of changed netcode perhaps?

I've had this with the current and previous patch, one gets shot the other eats pineapple chunks shortly afterwards.

I have seen at least twice with this patch my killer on 0% health and thought what???

THE most annoying thing was when i got some c4 on the LAV, ran to a safe distance, then pressed the trigger only to die a split-second before detonating :mad:

To make matters worse it happened twice in in about 2 minutes, both times by ak22p :mad:

You're on my radar now!!

Oh and I got called a camper! most of the time i get accused of running around like a headless chicken, i managed to get round a corner as someone was firing at me, so i got behind a cinder block and set up the bipod and waited for about 2 seconds for him to run round the corner, obviously he expected me to just stand there in the open waiting for him to kill me

I tend to just blow myself up with c4 if I get it on a tank, unless I'm 100% sure I can get safe distance without getting killed. If it even looks at me, up goes the c4. Even with the suicide, still get a positive amount of points

The nerf to flares means ECM takes up that slot now. Took a few runs in a jet to remember to activate it before you heard the lock on beep.

So they just removed the bf 3 stopped working error message then. Map still wont load up 1st attempt of a session, get a false sense of hope the game will launch 1st time as the game says its loading but nothing happens. At least with bf 3 stopped working message you could just click close now, more ctrl alt and del now tho. Oh joy indeed

New plugin needed for browsers too as scrolling across to see what maps in rotation doesnt work.

I never had it before until new patch but today i had it 4 or 5 times.

As for the 0% health thing ive had it myself when i was on 0% before and after the patch no idea how thats even possible but i wont complain if im the one with 0% showing up and still alive

Was previously using F2000 but I've moved to the M16A3 now.

Ive killed someone at the same time as they got me loads of times, pretty common this. Bfbc2 was the same.

Pretty much using the same guns, but the m16's do feel a bit weaker. Started playing as support today, not fond of the basic machine gun so i use the ump.

must be your style of play have this about 2-3 times every map since beta
its called bullets in the air before he dies
but in fairness happens a lot more on hardcore mode

Just had a longer game on a different server. Think the patch has done a lot of good. Game feels less laggy and seem to make a lot more hits when I know I should be getting them. IRNV seems much better now, I picked up an M249 with one on. Was good up close, rubbish at range, I get the feeling it will be a good gun on some of the PDWs in darker maps. Chatbox is better, and Ive also noticed that people who call for pickups appear on your minimap now, is that new?

cant understand all the hate the f2000 is getting performs no better than either the M416 or the AEK-971 all of them have slightly different roles

Tried out the inrv last night and more than happy with it still performs perfectly with my style of play and still scope of choice for close assualt and mid range

one little addon i dont see anyone giving love to is the bipod been trying it out on the m416 and it works really well on single shot midrange

Bipod user here, helps turn some assault rifles into pretty decent sniper rifles. Particularly with a x6 scope mounted.

for me its been more mid/long range point control but leveling up the an94 to try some some long range

Assault rifles with burst fire with bipod and rifle scope is also a very good option.
Just make sure you havent got the silencer attached otherwise its a non-event
