Aren't chinchillas all fur though? is there much meat on them?

This happened a few years ago here. Not for the meat lol but there were a group of ****** going round stealing dogs. They would wait till the posters went up and call the number and tell the owner they knew where the dog was and it would cost the 500 quid to get it back. It happened to a bloke i used to know. His missus had their little dog (show yorkie i think) pinched from their back garden in broad daylight. They got it back a week or so later after paying 500 or a grand or something.. Plain old extortion..

Dogs were being stolen in my area (Gloucestershire) a few months back. Rumor is that it's travellers using them for dog fighting. It stopped happening after a while so I can only assume they moved on.
