I've only just become familiar with the MP7. Best gun in the game imo. I work so much better with guns that have a simple ADS view as opposed to looking through a hole or something.

This patch has made it even more weird. I go from moments with slow reactions where i should have died to moments where it takes 1000 bullets to kill someone to moments of instant death with zero time to react - all in one game. Going back to bf3.

What setup do you use with the MP7? I like it, but find I'm very inconsistent with it, would like to use it on the smaller maps though.

Haha ouch! I had a game where I went 20-3 which is a very good game for me (KD 1.5) so I was quite pleased, but also really annoyed because all 3 of my deaths were to one corner camping noob on the enemy team. He went 6 for 12, camping in a corner then moving to a different corner after each kill. I returned twice because I was so ****ed off at him ending my streak, then after he owned me both times I just hung back behind my team and sniped.

Are these maps bette or as good as COD4 MW1 maps? Whats your favourite.

Wil MW1 maps be released as a patch you think?

I like MW1 maps the most

- MP7 w/ whatever attachment I'm trying to level up for the bonus XP, after that I go with extended mags or silencer
- FMG9 akimbo
- Flash
- Frag
- SoH
- Hardline
- Stalker
Specialist;
- Quickdraw
- Assassin
- Steady aim

(I know there are better combos for specialist but meh it's working for me!)

Have literally just hit 3rd prestige, eagerly awaiting for some double XP from the OCUK clan

I've found two setups which work great with the MP7, one for close range maps, like Mission for example. I use this as my FFA standard clas:

MP7 with RF and Silencer
Stinger for enemy UAVs
lethal and tactical of choice
SoH
Hardline
Steady aim.
Assault: UAV, Pred, Attack chopper

The other setup is for TDM use and/or where you want the SMG to be more useful at longer ranges:

MP7 with range and rapid fire (or ext mags if you prefer)
Akimbo skorpions
lethal and tactical of choice
SoH
Assassin
Stalker
Whatever killstreaks you want. I use the same as above.

About to start 7th prestige, and I'm only now starting to finalise my setups. Took ages to decide which my fave weapons are. I'd love to play with you guys sometime, how do I go about joining the clan and getting games?

Most of the maps individually are pretty good. There are some awesome ones and a few bad or mediocre ones. But as an overall map pool it doesn't work too well. The maps are generally small and cluttered, lacking open spaces or significant variation in gameplay. Also there is virtually no height variation between different areas of most of the maps. If IW release a map pack which has larger, more open/varied maps, then the pool would be more balanced and generally pretty awesome.

Favourites are Mission, Village, Dome and Lockdown
Least favourite are Interchange, Downturn, Bakaara and Resistance (though i've had some awesome games on it)

Just incidentally, I assume you guys usually rape face when you're in a largeish party? Not that I'm bothered either way (I enjoy a challenge, but also enjoy pwning nubs

), it just seems to me every time I'm on the opposite team to a group of 3+ enemies all in a clan, my team just gets slaughtered lol. I've never had the experience of being one of the ones in the clan, doing the slaughtering.

I never played MW1 back when it was released (well, I played the campaign) but I tried it a few weeks ago. Came across two hackers in my first game, switched lobby and there was an aimbotter in it. I just gave up and didn't bother trying again. It was unplayable. I've never came across a hacker in any other game, ever, then 3 in my first 2 games? What a joke. This was on 360 too, so I imagine it's worse on PC.

No hackers so far in MW3. Fewer quickscopers and noob tubers too. Less BS generally than previous games. Still lots of corner campers. I don't know if any of this applies to the PC version and community though. CoD is really meant for console IMO.
