x rebirth could be on the console. read on egosoft it has a more user freindly easier interface while holding onto the imersive storyline that the fans are looking for.

if that isnt the sound of a console port then i dont know what is.

I enver really got hocked on the X series, unfortunatly i thought it was just like the X-com so that was a bad purchase =D

Why the hell would they do that. X-series is a massive learning curve, time consuming game. Why would you want to do that just for a pretty pointless story line. It's an open universe.
If you can't guess, I'll be skipping it and waiting for the full game.

I got berated regularly off the mrs about playing X3TC. She hates it (not a good spectator game). She eventually pestered me to buy BF3 instead which I played one night of and then bought and am currently addicted to Skyrim.

There's something about X3 that women hate. Go figure...

Maybe to reward the long term fans/players of X series games whilst they wait for X:R, just as a way to say thanks for your continued patience.

I'm rather annoyed Saya blew up the Torus. I liked that. Anyway, whatever the reasons, I'm siding with the Terrans... should I have the chance.

ofc but she used to play minecraft also so that is ok i think in her eyes. The only reason she dont play MC now is because i banned her of my server for nagging. I keep sulking about what she said about the X game and know she will come around when feels guilty. Also current addiction is APB

Start a new game then load yer old one after the intro movie. Helps fix it sometimes. If that dont work and u have steam ver change yer steam language settings. Watch starting intro then change back also a reported fix.
