Rag and bo gypos

We had a new bathroom last year and the old bath, sink etc were in the skip outside.

It was my day off and saw them with a hammer smashing the taps and short bits of pipe off where they could.

I didnt say anything as I didnt want them and didnt want to **** them off and come home to find the shed empty.


Scum!
 
You occasionally see them driving around here in an old pickup truck looking for the odd bit of scrap. I think they get more from skips than anywhere else.

So they're scum for stealing something that you didn't want anyway? Brilliant.

Yes, legally speaking the rubbish belongs to either you or the skip collector, but really, why would you even care?

They saved me money on skips... kept coming round and emptying stuff out so I managed to squeeze loads more in.
 
I think they are a victim of peoples ability to throw stuff away so you can only blame the people I mean there are a lot more about that there ever was before and that is simply becuase the cost of metal is so much higher than it was before. I do have some issues with them becuase they are blatantly breaking the law. I saw one pick up a freezer from outside an old ladies house the other day and he took a hammer to the compressor to get the gas out becuase the `scrappy dude wont pay us if its got the gas in` That is actually illegal to knowingly let the gas into the atmosphere but I doubt they care much. ( this is based on older fridge and frezzers that contain the harmfull refrigertant)
 
I remember the old Rag and Bone man, used to call it down the road and you took items to him, that i dont mind but this new age of Gypo's or chav scum is a pain.

I have at least 5/6 different horse and carts all with some dirty looking chav scrote in a ripped mucky tracksuit and clearly not bathed for a while riding around all day every day!
Our neighbours were getting a new shed, one of those corrugated metal ones, was just put up, the neighbours were then out front throwing the old stuff in the skip and the scum lifted the shed and took it whole, wasnt even that small.
Saw them on one of the duel carriage ways taking that metal fencing down building sites use and the smashed central reservations, then blocking the whole traffic to do so!
Horse and carts should have to be checked for road safety and insured too if they are intent on road driving!

Similar here. I had a couple of doors changed in my house a few years back. Got a carpenter mate who does DIY stuff for me. Left the old doors in my garden, and we both went out for a swift half... as you do. In that half hour or so, someone found the old doors and nicked them! I don't know if 'gipsy' is the right word, probably opportunist thieves more like. Then this year, another ******* went around my garden and took all eleven of my solar powered garden lights.
 
That van in the video makes the same unintelligable noise our local one does.
I wish they would get lost, they make a right racket over the weekend going up and down the road at stupid o clock in the morning.
 
I live in stafford and the one around here used to sound like someone had left the window open at the local mosque
