Which of these 3 as a run around?

For £600 I wouldn't touch that with yours.
Fortunate that it's listed a £495 then :p.

Why not out of curiosity, the 1.5 Isuzu TD is a good, reliable, frugal engine. The rest of the car is very meh but what more can you expect at this sort of price range?

For £600 a lot more than a Corsa. I've had one, was terrible regardless of the engine used.

The fiesta is a much better choice, or even a Mondeo.

In a starlet of that shape it should be, Fuel Injected 75bhp DOHC unit - would certainly be the most lively of the three. And probably more reliable being a little newer and fuel injected, if my facts are right the 1.2 K10 Micra is an Electronically Controlled Carb, not something I would want to die in the winter !

That will be a hoot then, I think they were 12 valves but being twin cams, those engines will be good to thrash. Being a Toyota I would also expect it to be better built have less rust than the Nissan.

But I would still go for a K11 Micra, they can easily be had for £600, and those lively 16v twin cam engines are superb, you can rev the nuts off of them and just generally thrash the car around and they will still keep going, there like little go karts, always thought they were under rated because of the image they had.

Just a word of warning, spare parts for Starlets are extortionate for what they are. Because of the rarity you'll been hunting around for scrap parts, or you can pay Toyota ridiculous money for them.

On the other hand, they are good fun. I recently sold my EP91 for £250 (it needed a new water pump, I couldn't be bothered) and the guy that bought it is still driving it yet.

Of those three I'd have the Toyota as the other two are rather rot prone (and one is an auto). However, as other have said you can do better for your money if you don't limit yourself to small hatchbacks.

Like what? i don't want to travel too far for a car so preferably in the Blackpool, Fleetwood, Preston, Lytham area. Under £700 there isn't any thing else as decent?

You can get loads of cars for under £700 but it comes down to what exactly you want. I'd personally buy 5th gen Accord if I wasn't concerned about fuel economy otherwise something like a Civic would do me for a cheap, reliable, decent driving run around.

I did abouit 80K in a bottom of the range 1.2l corsa yes it wasn't great but it never let me down and the only maintenance done on it in that time was consumables (6 Tyres, 2 Exhausts, Shocks and brakes) I will simply never own a car that is anything like that sort of value for money ever again.

If you view a car simply as a necessity to get from a to b then you'll be very surprised what you can live with I had a couple of metros before that including a small non turbo diesel one!
