sennheiser pc 350?

I have the same issue with my MMX 300s :/ Tis hard to know how loud you're talking but I've gotten used to it now

Finally got my 350s. Awesome. Tweaked stuff and now they run perfectly. Closed so that I don't hear my fans! And they feel awesome. My D2 runs them fine.

I dont know if you will be using mic but the PC 350 the mic broke for me and has broken for my friends also, I think this is because the mic setting is on the lead itself.

The PC 360 has the mic switch on the headset itself so should not break, and has been going good for me. The only downside (which may not be a downside) to the PC 360 compared with the PC 350 is the 350's block out a lot of outside noise whereas the 360's they feel more open and you can hear more noise outside of the headset.

Still sound great and would recommend the 360 over the 350.

the bass is better on the 350's tho right with the closed back???

The bass is good but I had to tweak. I fear my DX2 isn't powerful enough to pound them normally. But with teaking, I now have BF3 explosions making me to a sex wee!

As for the 360s, not sure mate, but I needed a closed ear design

Bass is better on open eared designs because it has a natural port. You can google and find a mod for the 350's that will make the bass better, but it involves a voided warranty!

Please don't state things as fact when you're talking absolute rubbish. Closed back headphones have far more perceivable bass than open back.

Bass renesoance is cheaper than a sophisticated cabinet design that is going to cost you many many euros.. Why do you think that many people drilled holes in the back of the PC 350 and perceived a noticeable amount of bass has been added? O let me guess that's all in thier heads??? Literally? Lmao. Go buy your self a non ported sub and let me know how much you like it or how much money you spend on it and how it doesn't sound much better than a ported one to begin with. It is just cheaper and easier to port a cabinet than it is to specifically design a cabinet that is going to produce the perfect amount of bass. Not saying that sealed cabinets or closed back designs suck, they are in fact better, its just that the good ones are very expensive for the little amount of quality gain that they offer. The 350's closed back was not engineered for the most perfect bass response, i personally like it and think the bass is just right where others think that it is weak. But for bassheads what they should be after is the opened eared design because it is essentially a bass port, that can be backed up by many people on the web claiming that the 360 brings quite a bit more bass to the table. Sure bass doesn't need a port or air, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper and easier than engineering a cabinet for optimal airflow. Trust me I work in the HVAC field, airflow is very complex.
