lol at the comments on that daily mail article. Women slagging off the gamer/gamers, as being sad, overweight, no-lifes for enjoying such videos - as if their soaps don't make them sad, no-lifes.

The comments were quite funny. Make sure you up/down vote them as appropriate :)

Anyone having an issue with mouse and keyboard input lag, happens a lot for me either happens soon as i launch the game or 3 rounds after, aiming down the sights trying to track someone just hardly will move then all of sudden it jerks of in the direction, also with keyboard release w and the guy still runs forward for a second or two. Really annoying, tried disabling origin ingame and put in forcerenderahead 1 and triple buffering 0, worked for abit but no real change, anyone else having an issue like this? any solutions? might just be an ati thing i read.

I'm really terrible at this game, I find it hard to kill anyone, I usually catch people unaware and open fire into their backs only for them to turn around and pick me off instantly, what am I doing wrong?
I have tried burst fire and full auto but I just can't kill anyone, also when I'm in vehicles I get annihilated in a few seconds but if I play engineer I can fire all my rockets at a tank only for it to drive off.

try hardcore....

Finally got a chance to play with the F-35 today.
I question the point of this jet, it has the turning capabilites of a brick.

Only use it on Wake Island, even managed to take out a chopper in hover mode earlier with unguided rockets too. If you get the airfield cap too, then you wont have any air support to worry about either. Unless they cap it back tho.
It isnt meant to be brilliant in the air but it does slow down more for strafing runs on ground targets but get a Flanker on your tail and you can say goodnight.

Is it wrong that I'm enjoying metro? :o

Usually despise it, but went on this random German server today (about 50-60 people) and it wasn't the usual choke point spam fest, but people were actually trying to push the front line forward. It was a 900 ticket server but my team spent the entirety of that slowly pushing forward and capturing the flags. Yes it was chaotic, but proper fun and not completely pointless as people were trying different things to move forward - I even had an awesome killing spree with the DAO-12 threw one of the narrow corridors that was tightly packed with enemies (the one just to the right of the wide stairs up to the ticket platform).

its good because its a challenge...a challenge for the back team to capture point B or A as the map is infamous as being one sided. So that spurs on an extra challenge, Perhaps thats why it can be enjoyable, fighting against the odds?

Wish they would sort the recon class out a bit seems a poor class to go as and to play in its proper role.
Was getting owned on that B2K map on the island by enemy jets/helis. I went as recon got someone to get the javelin and I painted loads of targets he managed to kill quite a few.
End of the map I got around 1500xp for the class if that, some of it was from sniper kills and headshots. It's such a helpful class if someone does it yet the rewards are so low it's no wonder many people seem to ignore it and would rather get owned by aircraft.

No it's not wrong. I quite like the map too. I just dislike the way a lot of people play it. I can't understand why anyone would want to just sit back and make no effort to actually break the status quo. So frustrating but when you get a server with a few people who actually want to play then it's great.

Just downloaded the patch and b2k but I click on join game, the game manager looks for a game finds one then closes down, it doesn’t load up bf3

Any ideas?

They need to make the SOFLAM easier to use, it's such a nightmare to use that nobody bothers with it, which is a shame.

Do long snipes, say 300 meters or more and you get 400 or more points if you get the headshot which you should.

I agree though, sniping for me is just pure fun, it doesn't get you the huge points but blowing peoples brains out from the other side of the map is most satisfying :p

I think if you got more points for the SOFLAM then too many people would use it and air vehicles would be rendered useless if every time they go up they get a javelin come at them. I personally think they should make helicopters stronger but make their guns weaker.
