I missed the bit about user notes before, post mine, I want to seeeee!
I can take it - hhhhnnnngh!
This forum seems to have "unwritten rules".
Where is the rule that says no discussion of explosives because I can't find it?
notsureifsrs
It also details things like name changes and the like.
Basically any time a mod takes an action on an account more serious than a minor edit, or moving a thread we are likely to make a note of it (or try to).
The reason is it lets all the mods track what is going on at a glance, and how often we've had to deal with them.
For example if someone has had 3 name changes (at their request) in a year I may refuse to do another one for 6 months.
Or if someone keeps getting suspended for the same thing we can deal with it differently (IE a longer suspension and a specific warning).

Thanks. I hope that it is considered by percentage of posts though.....![]()
If I'd be able to go into a thread, read it, lock it, then no, I'd not be too busy.
I was not asking for direct medical advice so that excuse you gave does not count, also not to mention I've seen plenty of threads with "medical" stuff in it that do not get closed.
The speed mods seem to act on things on this forum means it is HIGHLY unlikely this thread: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18353627 has not being spotted by a mod, it's got 22 replies, and you've not locked it.
'Family friendly' covers a lot of things and everything else is at the mods discretion.
What explosives were you talking about?
When all said and done, no one is ever going to agree with every decision a mod makes because nothing is as black and white as what some people may think.
Ah, so it's the catch-all 'terrorist act/breach of the peace' equivalent for OcUK?![]()

The funniest thing About all this is that the OP was an underboss for a while...
I don't know why people get uppity about how these forums are moderated - it's not like you HAVE to post here is it?
If you don't like the way it's moderated then toodle pip!
I'm more intrigued about the user-note system now, and wish to know how many I have :/
