Been on since about 11am.

Playing as a Sith Warrior just to have a mess about and a look round, it's fantastic so far. Really enjoying it, I'll hop on to the Jedi side (as I'm on the Nim server) later and hopefully catch up with some of you crazy kids :)

Really enjoying it. Light-sabre's are totally bad ass :cool:

It seems this is how it works

:All pre ordered versions have a 48hour grace period after which then need to re-enter their product code and a valid bank details or paypal .

All boxed set/DVD games have to enter game code+bank details/paypal in order to access the 30 days free which you get in box.

Kind of sucks as you are having to give bank details just to play something you have allready payed for and have in a box,
p.s frostclaw is down atm based on server stats
 
lol this anoying my paypal account is down atm untill Friday lol grrrr

This means i have to wait till friday before i can enter paypal details and thus access the game with my boxed DVD code, how much does that suck balls........

30days access now becomes 25 days access (29 days on entering code,-3 days while i wait for paypal to fix - 1 day of entering paypal details and getting game to subcribe me on christmas eve ) lol

beat that for suckage .....
 
Level 37 now, just finished Taris one of my favourite planets soooo far but the buggy and memory leak/crash heaven. Glad it's over, just moved onto Quesh and back to normal woohoo!

Taris crashed me 11 times today, 4 times put back in a 300-400 queue and the rest got a kind of grace period which was nice.

It's being talked about all over the forums, whole planet after the first few quest is memory leak galore.
 
I didn't like the game forcing me to subscribe before I could get my ~30 day free play. I found that pretty frustrating and annoying, however I was always going to subscribe so it wasn't really a problem :p

I do however only intend to subscribe for a month and then pick up game cards :)

A pretty bad list tbh, I am 100% sure that you had to enter credit card details for STO - one of the many threads on it, http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=107268

Anyways, it isn't a big deal, just cancel it if you don't want to resub.

Might see what the queue is like for Frostclaw...have been having issues with the chat system all day though, so aplogies if it has looked like I have been ignoring guild chat.

Edit: 910, forget that. Might roll republic on Kellian Jarro, although that is becoming quite a busy one too - do we have a guild on there?

lol aye is it very anoying as i personally and my mates never had to do this with the other MMOs i listed(some say they did but we never did )

Either way i agree i probably will keep subing though i think il use paypal rather than bank details as it is the internet and you know what that means...cof steam..cof losing details cof cof..:p

P.S let us know how the new servers are as i have untill friday before paypal fixed and i can sub and get online, so looking for a good server to join with UK peeps i can actually talk to using my cockny accent :D
 
Where is the best place to buy this game online folks? or am I better buying hard copy from highstreet?
 
me thinks the trickery they are rumoured to be trying with the servers isnt working...im looking at a screen of light/standard/heavy servers yet my one has a 1000+ queue, the irony being that it usually isnt that busy (The Red Eclipse btw, yes yes carebear pve-er etc)

No guild yet, I'm ready to head for the guild registrar on Coruscant as soon as enough people pop on :)


Open invitation to anyone who is fed up of queues, come on Kellian Jarro and msg Sylinx.
Once the guild's set up we'll get invites handed out.

Loving Bounty Hunter! Level 24 and it just keeps getting better.

I'm 'Jevren' on Frostclaw if anyone wants to group for FPs/Heroics.
 
had to restart the client because it was becoming really laggy, and now im on the backend of a 977 queue :D weeeeeeeeeeeeeee <3 frostclaw
