No shortage of tanks, but there is definitely a shortage of healers on every server I have been on.

I'd imagine it'll change when people are maxed on level, will for me at least - rather level as a DPS than level as a healer

I didn't think you could change your advanced class?

Would it be possible to level as a Jedi Knight with two light sabres and then swap to the tanking advanced class?

Leveled my priest in WoW as Holy from the get go so will keep the same thought this time

I have specced as Healer and have had no problem levelling so far (26 at the moment)

I have actually really enjoyed healing in flashpoints as well

Nope it isn't. But for each advanced class you have three tree's and you can respec between them by resetting your spent talent points.

If they allowed Advanced Class switching it would cause an outcry.

I think people need to realise there are 8 classes, and not 4.

They originally had the ability to change AC, but removed it for live, and said that they *may* introduce it again at some point but it's not guaranteed. Kinda hope they don't though.

Levelling as a Tank sucked so much in World of Warcraft, same goes for healer.

I rolled a character, but I don't like the appearance so I'm going to start again, will chuck my server out when I'm online to see if anyone else is on there

That ability to change it would have been for testing only, it's possible but it would mess up all manner of things for your character.

They could probably implement it in future as part of a patch and make it very expensive and require a very long and difficult quest line to do so.

Levelling as a Tank sucked so much in World of Warcraft, same goes for healer.

However since this isn't World of Warcraft, levelling as a tank is actually perfectly fine. Especially with a DPS companion.

How are the servers now btw on frostclaw? - shame I've abandoned one of every class above L12 and 1 l23 on there ,

I've re-rolled on Bao dur (empire) & Ludo Kreshh (republic) - no waiting times at all atm & a decent population.

I'm goiing to be levelling the DPS Guardian, Smuggler and Shadow to 20 and THEN deciding which to main!

Doing my head in this, Shadow is great fun, good ganking stealth fun, too, Guardian just feels like a movie Jedi, which is awesome! And Smuggler feels different and nice in PVP.

Decision!

warrior tank, sure. but druid tanking is fine due to having catform, paladin tanking is just OP for aoepulling, and DK's can just rape in every spec. this is my experience, anyway. i have all of them as tanks and had no trouble at all

No queues and if there's a queue it's 5minutes.

That is very true, however my little brother has to wait until Christmas Day to have this game so my levelling partner isn't here

By companion I meant the class companions ingame, not some DPS player you shackle to your waist to level with

Pretty much fixed across the board now. By the end of peak times last night, although Frostclaw said full, I got on instantly on a number of occasions. Even when I was in a queue of 500, I got in within about 10 minutes. Hopefully this continues!
