^ i cancelled Amazon and went with a key from cdj keys or whatever its called... im so glad i did
lazy people should've gone into the shop to preorder it then tbh. high street stores failing while people complain about how bad the online service is, yet still use it

This is the first time Ive had a full day to play, fired up PC at 7:30 to find servers are down and now we cant subcribe to allow us to play. ace
That ability to change it would have been for testing only, it's possible but it would mess up all manner of things for your character.
They could probably implement it in future as part of a patch and make it very expensive and require a very long and difficult quest line to do so.
Doesn't the orange gear also have base stats though? Which could make it better/worse than Purple items of the same level, even with mods?
so we have to now add a subscription to our accounts before we can play the remainder of our initial 30days, and the site doesnt work when you try to select a sub plan.. marvelous ;p
In order to claim the "free" 30 days we need to pay for further time?
Or is it like any usual MMO where you need to just setup billing for future use?

Greetings everyone,
If you are currently experiencing an issue while attempting to play Star Wars: The Old Republic and receiving an error ‘No Active Subscription’, please make sure you have completed all of the steps in account management to get Ready to Play.
How can I ensure I am ready to play the Game at launch?
There will be a 48 hour ‘grace period’ for Early Game Access players post launch. Those players who are in Early Game Access will not be able to continue to play the Game after December 22nd, 12:01AM EST without completing the following required steps:
This should resolve any problems related to this error message.
- Create a SWTOR account if you have not created one
- Fill out your contact information
- Set up minimum 3 - maximum 5 security questions to protect your SWTOR account
- Redeem an official Game Product Registration Code (This is different from your Pre-Order Code. Your Product Registration Code is the code tied to the official Game.)
- Sign up for a recurring subscription or enter a Pre-Paid Game Time Code.
If you are still experiencing any issues with this after checking the above, please submit a ticket to [email protected] saying that you already went through the Ready to Play steps.
it would seem they posted the info a few days back ;-
