I'm playing a Juggernaut and with the warzones rarely popping anything other than Huttball it's starting to get frustrating. That map is golden for ranged classes. Don't get me started on on the almost non existant CC immunity too! So many times ive been used as a ping pong ball, force leap onto some unsuspecting caster only to be bounced just before i get there then bounced twice again without even landing lol.

Two things here, not sure a) that there is that many players high enough to be seen, and b) on Alderaan, when I was on there I must have got into 30/40 open world fights.

A lot of people have been asking for more information on our future plans. What are we going to provide for players in terms of features and content? While we’ve given some information on what features we’re working on, we haven’t given much detail about content. We’ve said that we’ll be providing new Flashpoints, Operations and Warzones. Now we’d like to give some more details on what they are.

Next month we're going to be releasing a new Flashpoint and an expanded Operation. The new Flashpoint involves a plague that could have significant repercussions across the galaxy. It takes place on a brand new world and involves some pretty epic battles. I can’t go into much detail, but be prepared for something different. The expanded Operation takes the existing Karagga’s palace scenario and more than triples it in size. It includes three new boss monsters and some pretty epic set pieces. You won’t believe the last boss, so we’ve provided an image as a tease.


We plan to continue releasing Flashpoints, Operations, Warzones and new game systems on a regular cadence. This patch coming early next year is only a taste of what is to come. Stay tuned for more announcements!

probably due just after the free 30 days runs out :P

cant see a few flashpoints keeping me playing ive only done the ones they have once because i dont find them very entertaining, they need to sort out the pvp stuff , enemy players giving no reward in open world pvp on a pvp server is a slap in the face.

they could atleast give a bit of valor

So a flashpoint and an expansion to a raid?

Looks like the end boss of the flashpoint/raid came right out of Balmorra. Those droids are littered everywhere and look pretty much exactly the same.

To hear the way they've planned new endgame content is very pleasing.

Basically they've been writing the story for it for a long time now and have the actors and actresses locked down in long contracts, so for those worrying it will take longer to record and code due to the voice acting, they've been essentially stock piling it.

Listening to that Interview gives me a lot of confidence in this new MMO.

I know its only been a few days and its faltered on certain aspects, but I think I'm gonna stick with it and see where it goes.

This, really.

I think people are jumping on the hate wagon a little too quickly, personally. All the WoW comparisons being thrown about are also a little unfair. WoW has been around for 6 years, so it has a huge head start.

I'm personally going to enjoy the story in this game, and hope they address people's issues with regards to the MMO stuff, etc. in the coming months.
 
Got my Social 5 gear yesterday from Voss, really nice looking robe set \o/

Also is there anything specific about getting recipes from Underpants Trading? I rarely ever get a recipe, and if I do it's Armortech and I'm Synthweaving :(

Only thing thats missing is all the trimming that wow got over the years. Duel specs/ques/transfers/raids and so on.

I don't feel the need to rush to level 50. They should know now what works and was does not and add over time.
 
Good to see lots of folk wanting to join Nice Hat! I'll be online for large portions of the day, just type /who and replace your local zone name with Nice Hat in the search box and send anyone a message asking if there's an inviter online. Hope to catch up with you all later.

Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the Flashpoint last night - even if the higher levels did make it a bit of a formality :D we should encourage these regularly :)
 
I got flamed months back for saying essentially "it's just kotor3 with multiplayer features not an mmo" and also "the instancing is a cheap cop out" now everyone agrees :rolleyes: flame them!! :p

I must admit I agree with arknor and Latex. I'm rely struggling with the desire to want to keep my sub going, I want to play an MMO as I get bored with single player games and each day more I play the more it feels like kotor3.

Pvp battlegrounds are horrific! They have ganked world pvp by instancing and the guilds are just broken, hardly tells me who is online most of the time. :rolleyes:

I really want to love this but after a week I amat the "quit" stage I hit with all other mmo's I tried like rift/aion/war/Conan/lotro, which is re-rolling every class hoping something will grab my attention :(

As I said I want to play an mmo and this just doesn't feel like one! Will hang in their but at the moment I have to choose whether to renew wow or SWTOR in 2weeks time and it will probably be wow.
