Insights for 2012

So... The new year is fast approaching, what are your insights for 2012?

This year has been a bit pants for me, so I'm going to try and make 2012 a bit more interesting

What are your plans, is there anything you are looking forward to and what would you like to happen in 2012?

For me, I am looking forward to:

- participating in 'The National Lottery Olympic Park Run' in March
- going to Hong Kong in April to visit my 91yr old gran and celebrate her birthday

Plan to:

- participate in a charity hiking challenge, maybe in Peru or the Sahara
- save up enough deposit to buy my own flat

Hope for:

- a promotion at work. I think I'm due one towards Q4 of 2012, as I missed out this year due to being a newbie
- my mum to have her final surgery and be cancer-free.

Plan to:
Graduate
Get my first decent job
Get a car
Go on holiday by myself somewhere random

Ongoing:
Pursue godlike aesthetics

1/4 or better 1/2 Of what i need to move to Canada

Hope for:
Pass College with good grades
Not to be Single

Looking forward too:

Learning how to drive.
Changing my career (want to work in energy or telecommunications).
Earning more money.
Going on holiday.
Cycling more often.
Running more often and doing another marathon.

There are more but don't want to babble on.

Passing my driving test
Employment with a salary
Graduation
Living back on campus
Moving out of Coventry

Plan to:
Visit somewhere new again, I'm thinking boarding in the Canadian mountains maybe

Ongoing:
Getting fit

That reminds me, I've never been skiing or snowboarding before. I want to try and plan it for next year

Good point. I haven't been for ~3 years now so that's another thing to add to the list for when i'm rolling in cash.

- get a Canon G9
- build an OcUK 'puter or use System Configurator
- replace my old Dell Inspiron 5150
- get savings from £2000 back to my usual £3000
- do more themeparks

improve my social life
start swimming again (should never have stopped)
Join the gym
find a bird
see the Northern Lights
Amsterdam (for the 3rd time) or Prague
Take Parents on holiday again

Looking forward to:
-Buying my own house mid-2012

Plan to:
-Get promoted to 2nd line
-Get my dad to hand down his Nikon camera he NEVER uses buy cost him £900 lol
-Earn more money for a better year

Ongoing:
-To still be alive by end of 2012
