Been playing this last few days, been having fun which I didn't when it first came out, was using DAO-12 today and got 138 kills with it, one thing thats annoying though is it takes sometimes 3 shots with frag rounds to kill somebody, is that normal or ? (and I'm talking a few feet away sometimes, not exactly far)

Tempted to equip the 6x sniper scope on it and troll some people :p


Edit: Also is anybody up for some games on XBL?, gamertag RegretfulPath :)

Yeah the wife. I suppose I am still young, only 23 (I think), got married 26th of feb this year. Yeah it was the wife and a friend doing karaoke on the pc lol.


@ThriceNightly - Unless it has changed since I was last on then you need at least 8 people to start the game.

Think that is normal the Frag rounds are for suppression more than out-right damage but are so effective due to the splash damage. Once you learn how they arc as well they are great fun like you've no doubt learnt as you can just pop a few off from miles away and watch them unleash chaos! I'm just working on getting the Jackhammer so I can really annoy people with them haha!
 
jackhammer isn't brilliant, it's good at real close range but nout else.

What it is really good at is making people jump and get out of your way as it makes quite abit of noise when shooting it.

Yeah the splash damage is good, 4 guys earlier jumped out a jeep just to get blown away by my frag rounds :D


Did try the MC840 (think its called that), seemed better even with buckshot, seemed to have more stopping power and range but being pump action really lets it down when your rushing the other team
 
Well feels good to be back on but the new maps seem to have a fair bit of stuttering in for me but the original ones are fine...
 
Mind you even with that we had a bit of fun with the tanks and guided missles on 2 idiots that kept going in the helicopter...

if this is true then the pc version should have the physics advantages of BC2 that they took out in BF3 on the consoles , like the ability to rearrange the terrain with C4 in BC2.

In BF3 you leave a black Stain on the ground and thats all
 
You could deform the landscape in the alpha If I recall, but it was taken out because of the issue with people falling through the ground and exploiting this fact.
 
so ive just picked this up at Tesco for £25 so as ive got rid of MW3 due to the maps not being as good as Blops i thought i should have a shot at this and for £25 if i don't like it i wont make much of a loss on putting it on eBay

only real reason for this is if anyone wants to add me (PSN: GTanny - if you cant read my sig :)) ill be online for a short time tonight but it wont be till the weekend until i get a good chance to play it

ive never played battlefield before so i know it will take a while to get used to it but im going to give it a fair chance before i judge it
 
Well I bought this the other day simply cos I was fed up of MW3, if any one fancies a game just add me - DarkendViper on PSN and I should be on for a bit tonight.

So far i'm really impressed with it, until you get against a well organised team, highly frustrating.
 
Theres a lot of christmas noobs about

I was on a team yesterday where literally everybody on my team was below rank 20 and none of them had a clue. the opposition was all rank 40 or above and were queuing up at the RU spawn to spawn rape us (on metro)

It just came down to a sniper fest with people sniping in the buildings at the people spawning down below. So 1 sided it was unreal.

I'm jumping on now for a few hours if anybody wants to join me ?
 
I was a NOOB last night :( just couldnt get any hits, almost felt like giving up at one point, as no matter how much i was aiming i couldnt kill first.

Im going to check my TV settings again as i hit the dreaded N button on the remote which may have taken my telly out of Game mode.
 
I dont know if I'm being stupid, but how do you put down health packs?

I'm wanting to unlock the Famas and it states I need 10 heals, I assume I need to use the health packs but cant find them anywhere?!?!?
