Just finished d/ling this at last, which server would be best to join on the republic side? Haven't played an MMO in a couple years since LOTRO so need to put some decent hours in.

Don't buy it from Zavvi. They are lazy and it's been sitting in their warehouse for more than a week!

Had a great night tonight with The Immortals.

Took a night off levelling to have some random fun, took out 2 world bosses, ganked a load of Sith and generally had a real good time.

Great effort chaps and glad I made the time for a fun night

edit: special lol for the end of the night for the lovely sith who helped us onto the platform for the datacrons... then we knocked him off

Yeah was good fun, since then we been running 2 PvP pvp teams and so fart one all except one in huttball the entire other team was level 50 and they wiped us 6/0 ... our time is coming!!

And yes as Newts said we are Republic, and yes we will always be open members from here.

We did 3 world bosses tonight Courusant, Taris and Tatonnie (and I was on me level 22).

We then attacked the Sith base in Tatoonie, had 2 guys charge in pull away the NPC then we raped the sith hiding in there (including two guys from our dark side guild, yeah no mercy shown)

Sadly not the case. The retail version comes with the code and CD's in the box and so I will have to wait until tomorrow when I receive my game to get started. The only place to get the code before you download and install is Origin and you'll have to pay £45 for the privilege. Don't go looking for other sites, they are clearly scams.

Well I've taken the plunge and my copy should arrive tomorrow. Good timing as I only have a few hours left of KOTOR2. Thinking about going Sentinel but I've read some bad things about them. I'm not fussed about min-maxing though. Ah well, I'll see how the mood takes me tomorrow I guess.

If you don't mind being a bit squishy on the road to lvl 50 then a Sentinal/Marauder is a fearsome beast, despite what people say. Most of the complaints come from PvP and the only PvP those people have experienced are the warzones which are heavily weighted in favour of ranged classes. In open world PvP and even in PvE they are one of the highest damaging classes there is in the game. Nasty in the right hands.

Well I like the idea of a class that requires a little bit of effort to get right so that's cool. I'm mostly looking for KOTOR3 really so I'm not that interested in PVP (for the moment anyway).
