Switched to Republic, Jedi Sentinel with The Immortals.

Loving the game but really need to be in an active Guild with an active community.

Level 14 at the moment and I find the Sentinel does so much damage. Seems a bit OP imo.

Also, theres no Combat Log. Is this somethin that can be made with the Chat Tabs or will it come in soon?

I also heard that the instances were only temporary and will be removed. Is this Fact or Fiction?

Hopefully fact. Keep instancing until you finish coruscantthen drop it, would be ideal!

Also wait until you hit 20 with sentinel. It goes **** :( I'm 34 and it's picking up a littlebut still very tough. Struggle on heroic mobs, especially they have an add with them. Justgo combat and interrupt everything (and pray) and you might be ok

There were only about 4 servers that werent completely full last night, so went for some random one, dont even know which one it was. Hopefully that one stays quite quiet, for the first while at least not queuing is more important to me than having a lot of people on the server, as im not too bothered about teaming up when im low leveled and becuase I dont get a heap of time to play then im going to be low leveled for a while yet.

OK - Seeking some tips here.
Stuck at the moment with my Jedi Guardian.
I'm Level 45 and I just cannot defeat Colonel Hareth.

She is Elite 41 and every so often a few more troops come in and you cannot harm her until they are all destroyed.
I believe there are about four waves but I'm yet to make it through them.

I've tried to kill her with every single companion open to me, however they are usually slaughtered quite early on and my death comes soon afterwards.

Had about 10 attempts so far and failed each one - had to eventually return to medical centre as I didn't fancy the 15 min wait before I could revive in the mission.

Any tips on this one?

What server?

You got the right level gear for
Yourself - what spec have you gone - tank or dps?
 
Not had any rememberable problems with any class quests so far as a Guardian.

Are you defense spec? Gear/mods reasonably up to date? Got any medpacs?

As for companion use, can't remember wether i used Kira or Doc for that fight but it would definately have been one of those two.
 
I'm on Nightmare Lands - pretty well specced up in a Tank role.
She herself isn't causing any major issue - it's the waves of Imperials which are as they seem to be able to kill either Kira of the Doc off before I can stop them, once I lose the partner it's mission over.

Game placed me a million miles from the mission, so a long trek back once again :)

Ahh crap really? lol

What skill tree you gone with?

I've gone with Watchman as I read on the ToR forums its the best to level with whilst being semi decent for the occasional PvP.

I'm really hoping for Duel Spec soon though.
 
I seem to have totally stopped lvling with Quests now, my main is 23 and only done a tiny bit of Taris, I seem to spend most of my time doing Spac dailies then PVP Daily which leads into lots of PVP!

I need to get out in the world & lvl I think!!
 
The miraluka bandages are crap :/.

So annoying, as the icon that shows your race at char setup is awesome - looks a bit like Illidan Stormrage :).
 
I really hope they don't add dual spec stuff. I much prefer people being locked into there choices, back in DAoC there were very few ways to doing full or partial spec changes, newer MMO's have made it all a little too easy.

Tried asking for help in general/guild?

You can get med packs that heal you and companion too - might help?

I was watchman and it was ****. Not enough burst to kill people fast enough and the survivability it (apparently) gives is next to useless.

Go combat, its not great either but its better than watchman.
 
Our World Boss run last night Nar Shaddaa
and again on Tattoonie
.

Funny buggers thought it would be a laugh, to attack the boss when I said I will tab out to read if we need to know anything, payback is a bitch :D

We also done the Courusant boss before these 2, and we tried to be clever, new player in the guild, and to MMO's a tank, we sent him to have him die he attacked the world boss, we ran away, for the bugger not to die migrate all the damage to us and like 7 or 8 of us to die while he was still alive :P
 
Found a world boss last night on Taris, very small heroic area where you need to do a little quest. I saw a dead Jedi on the floor glowing blue so I clicked him then BOOM! Giant centipede world boss comes out of the floor and one shots me, I was like :eek::(:D
