agility 3 ssd help please

hey guys
just got a 60gb ocz agility 3 and ran a few tests seems to be slower that reviews are getting

using AS SSD bench

seq read 201mb/s write 75mb/s
4k 18mbs read 51mbs write

something seems amiss as write speed is half of what others are getting i may have missed a setting? using an asus u3s6 sata3 card

any ideas?

Thats your likely problem. Even though it connects to an x4 pcie slot i think, internally it uses x1 speed for the SATA. You'll never see proper Sata 3 speeds with these cheap cards.
Check for driver/firmware updates though.
Use ATTO for benching the SSD.

This +1. ATTO uses compressed data, which the A3 is designed to use to get the max speeds.

k used atto read speeds of 400-500 write speeds of 170ish

what card would you suggest as a replacement?

Those speeds are pretty good for an aftermarket sata3 card tbh.

somethings wrong though plugged the ssd into my sata 2 on the mb and write speed goes upto 250 read drops down to the same so guessing its limited

i was trying all night to flash the firmware on the card but the prog isnt 64bit compatible and for the love of god i dunno howto boot to msdos to try it that way from a cd drive
