As above, go on a map like Operation Metro get near a big fire fight and spam medi packs :D easy points.

once you get the Famas, dont expect great things to start with, the Balistic 12x scope is just stupid for an assualt rifle, and the stock iron sights is the worst thing ever, you just cant see a thing.

once you unlock the 4x then the holo, it becomes a beast of a gun, i found the adding the heay barrel runined it tho, so use forgrip,holo,and thats it.
 
I do have to agree with the iron sights on the FAMAS being terrible but I just have to live with it as I cannot stand using any extra sights on an assault rifle/lmg/engineer weapon.

Anyway anyone up for a few games on 360?
 
If i was on the other team or if I was struggling to get kills I would have left but it was easy to get kills so I stayed. Even at the end of the map it didnt balance out the teams which i was suprised at.
 
From initially hating the game, I've come to love it.
Just took me a while to get into the game I guess.

One question though, I got the new map pack - which is great - however the maps on rotation seems to now only be the expansion maps. Is there a setting for this or do I need to add a specific server to my favourites, that has all the maps on rotation?

When searching the servers, the B2K ones are only the new maps.

I have to hipfire the FAMAS until I get holo's, every other sight is too slow and as you say... the ironsights are a proper joke!
 
Well I have to say this game seems to be getting more and more bugs each time I play it, I nearly cant be bothered with it anymore.

Once again in a FPS the Famas is the worlds best gun.

The gulf between how many bullets I put into other players, but it seems 2 shots from most weapons and im dead is infuriating.

The spawns are still abhorrent, still putting me directly in front of enemies, or facing the wrong direction when spawning into conquest bases.

If you load a tank with C4, at times you can be getting shot at, smacking the C4 trigger only for nothing to happen.

Plenty of others, matching problems, the daft layout of not being able to exit a game until in the actual game, random flag capture times, the simple ability to have to leave a squad before going to join another, and the game not being able to do this automatically.

I would say stick with it. Sometimes I play and absolutely love it. Other times it's teeth grindingly frustrating. Even then I still enjoy the games for the most part.

I dare say they will fix matchmaking as it does seem to throw up some odd matches. On this though you win some, you lose some IMHO. Plus you learn from the better players. I try to adjust my tactics to suit if I'm getting outclassed. I.e hanging back more and being more careful about rushing into a firefight.

The spawn thing is my most annoying problem - spawning right in front of someone and being insta-killed is no fun. Still evens out though as I've had the same in reverse where one, sometimes two players have spawned in front of me and you have no choice but to mow them down :D
I suppose this is quite tricky to get right when you can spawn in the middle of battles in fairness to DICE.

Not used FAMAS but it is popular so probably good. You can get the SCAR pretty early on and that is certainly a good weapon.

For the C4 thing be sure to press the trigger when you respawn - I'm pretty sure the C4 stays in place as i've been killed that way a couple of times :rolleyes:

C$ stays on for a few seconds as far as i can tell when you respawn, you just have to be quick and switch to the c4 and detonate...
 
Yes it does, which leads me to another really annoying thing, IF i respawn on time ( i still dont see the point of wasting time showing the person that killed me running about, then waiting another 5 secs before I can deploy again), yet somone can then come along and get the kills and vehical destroyed points because its still laced with my C4, one RPG and that blows the whole thing, so I respawn and click click, nothing.

Still doesn't excuse for me why I'm doing that part where I run like a headless chicken dodging bullets to reach a safe distance to blow the thing, only to see my characters hand on screen flicking the trigger and nothing to happen. Also been in a lot of one on one shooting at some one form the hip, to press the trigger and nothing happens.

what weapons are you using and what attachments are you using ?

I'm afriad i must be one of these people you see killing in very little bullets as I rarely get frustrated at losing gun battles.

With me its usually when the game gets the team balancing ****ed and i'm up against imppossible odds with a useless team. Either that or some particularly annoying player with an annoying play style who kills me over and over again.

And to be honest the spawn system is a problem of your own making. Join a squad, get in a team over xbox live chat and ask your mates if its safe to spawn on them.

Either that or don't spawn on flags that are currently under contest and likely to have somebody waiting to kill you

anyone on here play the co-op missions.

i'll not be the best, only have the first 2 maps unlocked - and i cant fly the helis ( 2nd map/mission) unless anyone has the patience to for me to get used to them or anyone also want to practice with the helis on that map for a while.)
