What film did you watch last night?

Innkeepers looks pretty good.

I cant believe how old Kelly McGillis is looking now. Doesn't help when I watched Top Gun a few days ago.

The Town: 8/10. A decent Ben Affleck film!

It's a little treat that film, was very impressed too.

Watched Captain America last night finally, very pretty, standard Marvel affair. Hadn't read anything about it, so was genuinely surprised to see who the baddie was.

One friend said it's the best of the Marvel lot, another said he probably wouldn't be able to make it through again. I'm somewhere in the middle, it was good but I still prefer the Iron Man Marvel flicks.

Oh, and Hayley Atwell is hot hot hot. Boiiiiing.

Star Wars episode 2 on blu-ray 4/10

Looked amazing but film was only just better than the phantom menace... Justified me not seeing it when it was released 9/10 years ago as it really wasn't enjoyable. Episode 3 will be better tonight

I felt that it had a very dated look about it. Had this movie been made 10 years ago, it would've been fine, but in 2011, I expected it to be a little more slick. Obviously it doesn't need to be as shiny as Transformers, but that move would not have looked out of place had it been released 20-30 years ago.

I was expecting a lot from it, because it did get good ratings, so perhaps my expectations were a little high.

Don't worry

CA was pap...Boring

Jude law didnt know where he was from...hammy acting and bad direction....dulldom

Agree'd on Jude Law, but to be honest he was quite low down in the list of Actors/Actresses in that film.

Also watched

Earths Final Hours last night, but had to turn it off, what the hell did I start watching??

We Bought a Zoo

Sure fire family entertainment. Damon handled his role very well, script was funny in the the right places. Very nice and lighthearted 2 hours.

See this if you're feeling under the weather, has the feel good chops. Bonus, Scarlett Johansson is looking very fine.

7/10

(Disclaimer: I'm in NE USA for the festive period, US release was 23/24th Dec) :D

Watched Avatar on Blu-Ray again, maybe 3rd or 4th time i've seen it. It is overly long, I watched half last night and thinking I was near the end realise was only an hour and 40 minutes in! Watched the other half today and despite some lack of originality I found it very enjoyable. Its the kind of film I can just sit back and get immersed by the pretty colours - 8/10.

I just finished watching Toy Story 3 which was very good, and a nice tie up for the series :)
I like the way they keep playing with both the toy's "characters", and at the same time a lot of the tropes for the situations they are in (the escape from the nursery for example).
