£10 says he isnt banned but he has changed his username like he had when he was in game with us

But i actually have a few questions for the members that record gameplay.

what Program do you use?

and if it's FRAPS do you record halfsize or fullsize RAW video?

I'm trying to improve my quality of my videos as currently i record Halfsize (original size is 1920x1080) and then render the videos in 1280x720 so it's even close to true 720p
I heard there are some programs you can use to upscale virtualdub being one of them but its all a bit confusing!!?

Anyways sorry for the rant and hopefully some of you may know what im talking about and be able to help :)

From what I've seen the seems to be some problems with the cyborgs in general, tried the below?

The thing was that for some reason (Logitech drivers?) there was a virtual HID device in the Game Controllers section of Windows 7. So in the following screen, not only my Cyborg was present, but a Vitual HID device too: http://rc-usb.com/rcusb-dsc-ppm-en/images/06.gif [rc-usb.com] The Game Controllers window can be found at > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers > Right click Cyborg and select Game Controller Settings


After uninstallling all Virtual HID devices from Device Manager (there were two present), I was able to configure all bindings immediately!

I also did remove all default bindings as mentioned before and uninstalled the Cyborg drivers/software. In the end I don't know if this was necesssary beforehand.

Ammo counter doesn't make any real difference (unless someone really is bad enough to need it) and immature players aren't limited to game mode, you don't have to defend what you prefer to play any time someone posts a different opinion. ;)

A wild hardcore argument appears!

Thnaks for the reply yeah i figured i'd have to switch over to fullsize , i regret not buying to 2 x1 tb hard drives when i built my pc £37 for a 1tb Samsung .....now it's over double!!!
Guess i'll have to keep an eye out for special offers.

lol mate had a chat with EA support (cough) and they said I got off light because they can issue a perm ban for any violation including this one. :D
 
Does anyone use the standard mouse keyboard binding for the Jets?

Can fly ok with the keyboard but aim with mouse is rather tricky when the slightest movement is a big roll.

What works for you?

Have tried a joystick but the bindings then stop vehicles etc working....

Tried a Xbox360 wireless but that is very intermittent so you get in the Jet and nothing works...

Is anyone getting kicked from games? I've joined about 6 games, on different servers today and within 5-10 minutes of joining, I get kicked with this message:

Game disconnected: you were kicked from the game.

Any ideas?

I've updated PunkBuster, by adding BF3 to list and downloading updates etc - to no avail..

Was fine yesterday!
 
I am seriously ****ed off with half the useless cheating ***** online. Why do they feel the need to ruin it... Can't play? THEN JUST GO AWAY AND DON'T CHEAT. Urgh.

Inb4 someone moaning at me saying "OOOOH what do you expect it's online blah blah blah" because yeah I know, but it's not my fault EA/DICE whoever cba to stop them.

Help !!!:o

So frustrated with this game!!

My three main issues are this:

1/I die 2-3+ times my kills no matter what class /map etc. If I play the game stealthy I end up with 100 points and come last....
2/In a 1 to 1 situation I always loose no matter what combo of kit I use im Colenel 6 so have most kit.
3/I cant fly a helicopter as it goes left or right almost instantly and you cant go on a server on your own so how can you practice ?

I don't consider myself a bad player I was ranked 64 in the world at one point on UT2k4 I know its very different but ...like I said I dont consider myself bad at shooters ????
Another thing for me is I use the arrow keys I've never been able to get on with wasd not matter how many times ive tried.
Connection is 50Mb Virgin so should'nt have a problem there ?
