Ever Done a Ouija Board OcUK?

I gave your article a bash, interesting one, the black eyed kids thing sounded really like a couple of films rolled into a simpsons joke. Weird too!

Plus I disagree with the 27 club on principle Amy Winehouse is something in comparison to Brian Jones ;)

Lol yes you might have a point there ;)

When I was a kid. As expected nothing happened.

Off topic, but OP why do you have an amazon affiliate link for that book on your site? You realise you will get 10p each time someone buys it?

Do you mean why don't I have an AA link? I never thought about it to be honest - I just whacked up a picture.

I did one when I was younger and it was spelling out all kinds of spooky crap, then I asked someone to sit out and write down what was "said" whilst we all did it with our eyes closed,

Needless to say it was all gibberish

Yeah I played with one once when I was a teenager, I died the next day. And the day after than too, IIRC. Dangerous shizzle...

Having to hold the glass is the first sign that it's a con.

Whenever you blindfold the participants, the glass still moves but the ghost suddenly loses the ability to form coherent words. Turn the board upside down without the participants knowing and it gets even funnier.

Yeah, at a Ghost Hunt that the g/f organised for our Dog Rescue Charity a couple of months ago.

The glass did move and people kept taking it in turns through out the session so everyone had a time when they weren't touching it. The group I was with were mostly skepitcal so I doubt they would've moved it on a purpose.

I just kept an open mind and enjoyed the evening. There were a few people who went and were adamant it was all a load of rubbish so didn't participate and didn't enjoy it.

my mum once told me at a co-op she worked at in the late 80s they sometimes did one on their breaks and one time the glass shot off the board and started going mental all over the place.

shes an honest woman and not the type of person to ever make stuff up.

Whether you believe in 6th senses, spirits or "other forces in the universe" or not... it's the sort of thing that doesn't interest me and as such will not touch or deal with it.

Yes, did it at a party when I was about 13. Not with a hasbro one someone just had a glass and drew the letters. Was quite fun I suppose. Spelled out various things personal to people, but funnily enough only when they had their finger on the glass (i remember one chick's grandma who had a stroke spelling poorly, presumably because her remedial granddaughter pushing the glass around unconsciously felt that mimicked her speech issue) Obviously complete nonsense but the girls seemed to take it quite seriously!

If "something" spells out

"I'm....to sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt ohh sexy yeah"

or

"I wanna have sex on the beach, come on lets get down and party"

You know its fake!
