under £14k BMW 335i SE ?

I didn't think the M-Sport kit warranted the extra £3k i was going to have to pay to get one. Not when BMW SE's these days don't like anything like as bland as E46/E39's did, the 335i comes with a sports steering wheel, sports suspension and sports seats.

If i had a manual, the M-Sport steering wheel is about £80, handbrake cover about £30, Aero front spoiler £320 painted, M-Sport skirts £200 painted.

With some £2500 saved.

I don't think there are many people on here who don't rate the 335i. What's not to like about it? It's by no means a perfect car, but it is very very good.

Would you honestly say its £12,000 better than your previous car though;)

Ahhh, i battled with this for a while, but in the end, buying a new car is not a financially decent decision. I sold my old car for £5k, bought this one for £14.2k so that's ~£9k difference. Simply put, my new car is not worth nearly 3x more than more old car.

You're always going to lose money. And i thought, if everyone did this, people would only have £1000 Volvo's that last forever. What matters to me though is that i've got a car that's been upgraded in every area. At least my money has bought something, unlike some people when they decide to upgrade their 2005 Ford Focus 1.6 to a 2010 Ford Focus 1.6. It is the same car and almost a pointless upgrade.

quick comment re the 335i remaps.... When I bought mine I knew I'd be tuning it up, and after probably too much reading on the subject, I opted for the JB4 setup. It's a small tuning box and you can alter the maps and options via the steering wheel controls. Plenty scope for future updates and firmware changes etc via a usb cable and laptop. Win.

I love it, honestly can't fault it for what it is.
