Thanks for the info, I do hope they balance the vehicles and classes, solve the performance issues on the Karkand maps, and dramatically boost the points for cooperative team play.

Also once you had swapped us mid flight, I questioned it (without swearing) and you responded with "don't like it?" which is a pretty open threat.
I admit saying **** I may have been a bit rude but you were being out of line, just cause you have admin powers doesn't mean you should abuse them.
Also, after you switched us the team you switched us to only had 1 more player, so not drastically imbalanced at all.
Yes you did make some of our team rage with your base raping, thats fine nothing wrong with that. However teams have to be balanced and as i knew you were on the same squad i swapped you. I'm sure you were enjoying those easy kills with the teams massively unbalanced but thats not my problem. Both sides have a choppa, and how was i supposed to know you were recording. Fact is i want to keep a busy and fair server going and i will balance the teams if needs be. You can blame dice if you like as the teams only get balanced at the start of the round so sometimes i have to take matters into my own hands or everyone just stacks up on the winning team.
You can publish the recording, no problem with me. I'm not after an arguement about it, you can win if needs be. I stick by what i said and did.

I think others can verify i try to be a pretty fair and non interfering admin.
I've made a mistake or two (WotDa) but no one is perfect. Its not easy when everyone is constantly moaning about this and that person hacking, mav exploiting etc. I try to do my best. With you it was a case of balancing the teams. Nothing more than that.
Its ok Dave, im used to hearing that kind of abuse since i started this server.
You swapped us because we were killing you and your team.
We were not overly base raping, and the server rules state that that's ok even if we were.
You also left the other member of our squad on the other team...
Also you were giving open threats to kick us after I questioned when you swapped us over.

I decided to play on the OCUK server because I thought there would be some good friendly people on there, not sore losers.

I wasn't on the server at the time, but I can vouch for that.
Would you have swapped if he had? I've never known anyone to do it voluntarily.
And then they would be on here complaining that they were the ones who got moved.

Well at least you guys get to duke it out here, LtMatt seems quite reasonable, and Davepen seeing as you have an apologetic tone I don't think your ban should be permanent.
Swearing is natural and is a way to vent frustration, I think people take it far too personally. Let's also keep in mind that you can be insulting without swearing either, and also goad people into doing it.
IMO, spawn-raping at the uncap base, hacking and racist comments should be the only ban-able offences, but that's just me.

If I had had some warning, then maybe I would have changed over?

I appreciate that people can run their servers how they like, but this being ocuk affiliated I was disappointed to see this kind of power abuse, especially with it resulting in a perma ban.
Base raping is allowed on the server. No question about that. That was not why you were moved. I can see im not going to change your opinion on that so lets just leave it there.
I quite often move myself to the other team, however on this occasion our team was losing players fast. So i moved you and your friend to our side. I didnt realise you were in a squad of four, how was i supposed to know this??
Yeah i said you made half our team rage, but that was fine hence the lol as i said it. There really is nothing wrong with base raping, its allowed but unbalanced teams will kill a server dead.
I don't know anything about this unbalanced warning, afaik there is no option for that. I only change sides if people start to moan, and Danson brought it to my attention via team speak that our side was dropping out.
I don't remember if you were dead or not when i swapped you, im afraid i was alt tabbed out making the changes.

I asked if you would have, and you've responded with "maybe". No offence, but that sounds like a "no". I can't honestly say I've ever done it either, but at least give a direct yes/no answer.
Or maybe the fact that you'd just killed him meant he was free to type admin commands without having to interrupt the game.
I mainly play on Matt's server because I enjoy it there and I've never had admin abuse problems. No offence, but it just doesn't sound likely to me that he was doing it out of spite.
Had some extremely annoying games earlier tonight. Found every single one of the pistols useless, taking 4 rounds with a REX to kill 1 target, plus only heads being visible and hitting them cleanly with any of the pistols and still not putting the target below 50% health. Also noticed some rubber banding issues which I thought where a thing of the past, but sadly not 
On the plus side, the SV98 rifle is amazing, really like it. Had a +395 marksman headshot earlier with it lol.

I would definitely not have swapped while I was flying the chopper with a friend on voip, no. But given warning when I was not doing that then yes I would swap to even teams.
He swapped both myself and the gunner of my chopper, why did he pick us 2? To take out the enemy chopper that is killing his team.... pretty plain to see I think no?
Tried the G18? I hated it at first, but once I got used to it the rate of fire is awesome. Normally when it's pistol time things are a bit too hectic for me to aim properly with something like the Rex, and you really don't get time for a second shot.

No offence, but that admission makes your "why didn't you warn me?" argument a bit weak.
Maybe on the assumption you'd be OK to buddy up with your gunner in the chopper on his team? It'd be worse to be stuck with some randomer or nobody at all.

I knew you were in a squad because i was using procon an admin server tool for bf3. I have players sorted by K/D ratio, you and your buddy were at the very top hence why i said i knew you two were in a squad together. I'm sorry that you think i did this out of rage rather than team balance, but rage is just not my style. I'm fairly confident that the people i play reguarly with will confirm that if needed.
Maybe we should just leave it there for now.
