Right, some night this week mate, ill go engi, you on soflam. Or vice versa. Not like last night on caspian, i thought i had you killed on hilltop twice, but due to the bad lag it didnt work out. I remember you typing SETTERR in chat lol.:D At least you havent knifed me much in this compared to the good ol bfbc2 days. Saying that, knifing in this is a lot harder.

Never had a problem with Matt on his server, in fact it's pretty much the only one i play on any more! Smogsy's server has gone to pap with all of the UKCS guys these days; if you fancy going on for a game alone it's just not worth going on. All of the UKCS guys sit on the same team and without a decent squad or two against them, there's sod all you can do.

People take the game way too seriously though sometimes, the only real rage-inducing thing about it is the ramming in the skies (hurrrr).

Also, i don't understand how all that Raven does is moan about the game yet he's still played it for over 225 hours :confused:

How sad must you be to troll my posts from battlelog, lucky I have good mates that I play BF3 with otherwise it would have been nailed on the head months a go.

No probs mate, though no mumble as i still aint got a mic. Tbh, even if i had one id end up shouting the house down. Closed back goldring ns1000 headphones, and cant afford a separate headset.

Agreed, i dont enjoy it as much as i did bfbc2. But, when it works it is pretty good. It just needs to be fixed to how it was pre btk release. Is a console port at the end of the day. The days of pc gamers thinking theyre top on developers minds are long gone. Its a case of make it as quick as possible and fire it out to the deluded masses. Bit like the xfactor.:D

If BF3 had been developed to its full potential on PC with no time restraints I'm sure it would have been the best battlefiled yet, on console and PC. Dice let themselves down by switching to console as lead platform and rushing the game out to beat MW3. I only play when my mates are on, as a solo experience for me BF3 is not worth playing, lack of communication due to no VOIP and a disaster of a commo-rose make playing with randoms a sad ordeal, something that was not a problem in BF2.
 
Tbh raven, the game feels so clunky and jittery. The commo rose and VOIP are very good valid points as well. I played a fair bit of bf2, and really enjoyed it. But i spent more time on bfbc2, (im pretty new to pc gaming). Bfbc2 is a much more polished smoother running game, and i dont have problems with either due to the ability of my system. Theres just so many issues with the game as it currently stands. The netcode is abysmal, spawning is a joke, the amount of cheating that go's on. Recon seems to be the class of choice for the cheaters, single shot kills from any range. Bfbc2 wasnt perfect, but it's a lot better than bf3. Hence ive held off on uninstalling it so far. And crickey i need the space on my ssd. But, bf3 could end up going first in it's present state.

Also a built in scrambler scrambles the team at every new map (not new round) if one team wins with too much tickets.

Thanks lecro, thats a mod i will look into and try to apply. That should mean a lot less work for me to be doing mid game. ;)

Lecro could you give me your addy on battlelog? I'd like to have a chat with regards to a couple of these server mods and what are the best settings to use.

Added True Balancer to the server. Thanks Lecro this looks like a great mod. Also enabled the team scrambler if one side wins by 300 tickets or more. Also added another mod,once the player numbers drop to 8 or below Metro is automatically loaded to try to get more players in. Bitches love Metro.

Look at his unlocks for scout choppers, then look at what he has done in them and how much time. Same for jets to an extent, probably IFV's too.

Looks like he may have spent a bit of time on a 'hacked' server if I was the type to point fingers.

a lot of cheating going on so far this year - seen a couple of dudes now with 100+ kills and 0 deaths :(

the funny bit is how they always try and defend themselves on the chat - was playing against one cheater and everyone on my team refused to spawn until he left, he was begging people to spawn so that he could kill them lol eventually his own team started tking him until he left

As for Davepen - all I saw was a complaint from him about getting swapped, followed by a ban for abusive language. I know the teams were unbalanced at the time, and he should maybe of held his tongue a bit better, but I can see his point and why he was annoyed - it might of seemed like you swapped them because they were the best on their team. Perhaps it's best to simply swap the last player(s) to join the server.

But nevermind. You have a mod to stop it happening in the future. I'd say let bygones be bygones, make up and move on.
