Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

SOme good games last night especially with stonedpenguin. We seem to play well together especially in jeeps :)

Not so sure about his heli flying skills though as he attempted to fly us under a road last night. Unfortunately, it wasn;t a bridge and we just crashed into the side of the cliff lol

Many of us who played bfbc2 regularly would use theese servers as a way of playing with each other, due to the limited friend system in bfbc2. Its just a tradition thats been carried on. Even still, a lot of us stick an ocuk tag in front of our names, again it's just a recognition thing. Though, if ocuk ever start a proper clan, id be up for it for a bit of craic.

Fun games last night, was great taking that tank out and who should be in it your good self and o.O Thundy Cat. :D When you respawned on the contested flag, all rpg's blazing, I was well flapping, missing shots everywhere, though the rocket rounds were missing thick and fast too. Thank God the round ended when it did, as I'd got myself stuck. :D

It wasn't fun - first time I'd got to play with you guys for quite a while, and I bailed after about 10 minutes. I don't get enough time on an evening to waste it on un-fun games where I can't seem to move without getting hammered by the chopper etc.

Ended up on some German server, fighting tooth-and-nail in a good squad, for pride on one scraggy end of Wake Island, loved it :D

239 hours with the knife equipped. Sounds like a player who plays on knife only servers to me. Haven't tried a knife only server but can't imagine they'd be as fun as BC2 knife only servers as the knife in BF3 is a bit fail IMO.

So does the game max out at 100 service stars on a weapon? Can't say I'm particularly keen on sticking with a gun for 10,000 kills. That's just too OCD even for ne.

Yeah im sorry about that. According to jim their team only had one more player but that wasnt the case it was 10v15 and players like yourself were dropping out fast.

Anyway, thats all done and dusted now. I've installed a mod to sort out that problem and it should move the most recently joined players only so hopefully this problem wont crop up again.

Have the ATI drivers improved since the game was released?

My set up could manage it on ultra, but I can feel the difference between ultra and high in terms of fps.

If the drivers have improved I might try again..
