£3000 spec for a Rig

As a mad idea as its late in the evening , what are your thoughts of having the cooling, rads, fan and tubing in a separate Built caddy next to the main machine with everything pumped into and through that ?
thanks for the list so far , reading away

that seperate built caddy has a name.......
its called a chiller :)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-004-HL&groupid=962&catid=2140&subcat=

no need for any rads or cooling fans with this :)
check out mine by clicking the link in my sig

Hi would be looking at the x79 board( Asus rampage IV or Gigabite )( needed to read more as see there are quite a few different ones and prices on each of these bits ) , 3930 processor as the 3960 is a lot and 3x GTX580'S , 32RAM (4X8GB), Blu ray reader
Case not sure liek the look as i said about the Mountain mods U2 UFO , says it will take the rads 2 x 360 and 1x120 ( http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-008-MM) will differ to you guys for help with set up of fan/Rad config and push pull set up .
what do you think of the spec i have chosen so far?
Thanks

Sounds good man.

3x580 3GB could be a plan, and if they are under water you should be able to overclock them a fair bit.

I'd still go with the 4 6970s though :p

And get the UFO case. It's huge.

When you say if they are underwater , can you explain a little bit more , do you maen use them witha cooling back block or actualy have them underwater ( i need to go back to school for this stuff)
why would you go for the 6970's rather thans the 580?
Yes do like the look of the UFO and it will fit everything i could want in it.
With Power for this set up would it be an idea to look at two power supplies one to run the fans, pumps, fan controllers and the second to run everything else ?
any leads on where you would look for all these bits or will i be able to geta good deal on Oc.uk , not sure if you can list any other companies on here but thanks again

underwater just means its watercooled...
why would you chuck 3k at a rig and get 6970 when 7970 are 3 days away?

yes lets get it back ot it could get cut .
think i will start with the
1: UFOu2 case
2: x79 Asus rampage IV

7:OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black)
8:x EK Supreme HF CPU Waterblock - Nickel Acetal
9:GPU's will wait and see how the new 7970 are received and either get 2 of these of lookk at 4x6970
10:Would look at watercooling , The Cpu , Mother board, GPU x4
11:Rads 480 and a 360 set up in a pull push pull set up , bit of thought f placement and where hear will be and the whole air folw from inside machine to outsice of case
12: Know there are loads of little bits i will also need have C& P form advice form the HW section , shows quite a few the bits of tubbibg abd pumpd will need two of these
13: RAM 32Gb(4 x8gb)
So what sort of set up do you think abou this with air flow for fans and rad placement any links drawing or pics would be good ..

Nonsense thread for the following reasons

1. You lack basic grammar/spelling which suggests you haven't got a job capable of funding a £3,000 PC
2. You lack basic knowledge of computer jargon. You cannot even see that putting : next to a P in your post above would lead to a :p

Sorry but there it is. There will be no build log as he isn't going to get this stuff you are spec'ing for him!

OP, do your research. It Worries me a great deal that you're happy to spend £3k on a rig that you seem to have little understanding about.
