Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Getting so ***** off, played BF3 from 7 - 9pm then by 9pm I'm getting killed by one hit kills, taking entire rounds to kill anyone sometimes it doesn't even react. Jets taking me down by one hit, end up top of the scoreboard
right down the bottom. It's always within about 2hrs worth of play when a server gets heavily crowded !. Is it because im running with vsync on?

Nah, its probably the netcode thing the game has which is overcompensating if the server is laggy. I turned it all the way down and found the game was a lot worse for it with constantly being killed around corners etc due to the lag caused by it. Have a play with that slider bar though (cant remember exactly what its actually called!) which is in the games menu and then see how you perform on it then.

In my defence I joined the server when it only had a few hundred tickets left, and then two maps later I get tyhe 'loading........' bug and quit out for SwTOR!

Ahh CT I used to like those guys a huge fan, till they chucked a hissy fit over me having CT-FAN in my tag.

I had that too, but when I mentioned it I just got " there's always something wrong with your system "

Sigh, no there is always something wrong with BF games

Dunno about the UK but on Australian servers there been a ton of hackers.

People with 200 kills, 0 deaths. Shooting you from accross the map with an F2000 even though you're in a tank, etc.

Fourth time this weekend i've just had to quit a server.

don't get why people hack on game, so what if they unlock everything quickly it'll all get taken off them when the account get'#s disabled. I've only ever messed with wall hack on a CS1.6 server i had and didnt get the fun in it

I think ive only ever seen 1 hacker on this game surprisingly.
He went about 280 kills to 1 or something stupid lol

I've said it before and I will say it again... 3 shots to kill using the first US sniper rifle takes the ******* ****! I even got a hitmarker at point blank range with it!

There was a hacker on THVC.EU TDM 300 tickets, Neon something was doing fast turn arounds killing people left right and center, killing people at incredible distance with pin point accuracy and killing people through objects that he wasn't shooting at!. He was something like 32/4 but they ONLY pick servers that rarely have admins

Yeah, it doesn't matter what they have in their hands as the hack makes that come up as the weapon that kills. Suppose it must be an ongoing joke on some cheating forum to use an item that doesn't do damage like the radio beacon etc.

Apparently some cheaters are trying to hide their abnormal stats taking the time to suicide over and over through various methods.

Not sure, first time ive seen this one and we get a lot of hackers, they were stationary like a MAV user.

Take scope off it, use it as a battle rifle, or use UMP or other weapons until SV98 unlock.

It's probably the mass release of that hack we saw a youtube vid of weeks back, were he was just running around with a m249 and every one on the opposite team dies automatically, it won't be anything new.

Sickening all the same. Thought we may have moved on a bit from the old CS days with regards to hacks but, i guess for every counter hack there are 20 new ones just waiting to be released.
