Awful ref was a great tackle, no Utd players said anything until the ref blew his whistle.

Rooney won that red by way of appeal. it was a bad challenge, 2 footed lunge with studs showing. Definite yellow, maybe red.

I only turned on my laptop so I could post this. I knew I wouldn't be first.

That was such a archetypal Man Utd counter-attacking goal. Break with pace, one touch out to the wing, cross back in, bang, goal. Even hit the crossbar too, which automatically makes all goals better.

That makes things interesting, why is that a red he won the ball?

To be fair, it doesn't matter if he gets the ball if the tackle is dangerous enough. Say, from behind the player, or two-footed. However, Kompany's tackle was none of the above, so who know. Obviously the ref say another tackle entirely.
