The FA CUP Third Round - 7/8/9 January *** Spoilers ****

Need challenge system in football now for offside goals/ridiculous red cards/penalty decisions just spoils far too many games

I don't think the game has been ruined, City still have 10 amazing players with a lot of spirit on the pitch...

It probably wasn't a red to be fair... but these things happen - another argument for electronic refereeing?

Game on.

True, plus City do have 70 mins to score

City can't defend without him, it's almost as if the FA have decided to send Kompany off at every opportunity to give other teams a chance. :p

It's pretty easy to see why it was red, it's harsh because he got the ball but from that side-on view it looks awful, if he catches him that's so dangerous.

Lmao Foy doesn't even blow whistle to players react?
I wish managers and players could slaughter referees in post match interviews.

If they go with excessive force rule it was a yellow. Scissor action didnt help. Still yellow imho

Excessive Force is a red....reckless is a yellow.....it probably warranted a yellow tbh, but then his studs were up and it looked worse than it was......
