Unlucky City, they shouldn't be too down the way the way they played in the 2nd half. Doesn't exactly inspire much confidence in United's FA cup ambitions either if you can nearly lose from 3-0 up against 10 men when they've taken off their creative hub and lost their best defender for most of the game.

Too close for comfort but have to remember City only scored from a free kick and a horrendous error and we were denied a definite penalty.

Despite losing, we've come off better really.
Hopefully they've run themselves into the ground and Silva wasn't just rested at HT but in fact had his leg amputated.
Full time. I'll take that!
Total shambles in the second half however.
Fergie looks furious.

A better ref would have had you 4-2 down after giving that second penalty.
Scholes was shot when he was attending first team training every day last season.
After 4 months of having the odd session with the reserves, he is a million miles off the pace.
