You're quite right Sonny, I've lost more coins than I care to think about. Two reasons the first being the depreciation of certain high value players that now don't cost anywhere near as much as they did when I bought them way back when. I'm talking about the likes of Schweinsteiger, Gomez, Lahm, Hummels, Neuer, Podolski, all expensive players during the first few weeks of UT, and while their prices have fluctuated I've sold at a bad time.
That's true for quite a lot of my teams though, I get very bored of them quickly and sell at bad times, I could probably remedy this by having two squads but it doesn't appeal to me, it makes me think that my club is "cluttered" which is a completely irrational way of thinking and doesn't make sense at all but that's how I enjoy playing the game and that's up to me.
However, when you say I buy packs you make it sound as if I'm spunking not inconsiderable amounts up the wall by constant buying which isn't true. Since the start of Ultimate Team I've spent about £70 - £80 at the most, that's what, just over £17 a month? It's absolutely nothing, even to someone like myself who only has a minimum wage job.
At the end of the day though I play my way and I play for fun. It doesn't bother me that I don't have as many coins as I used to, or that I don't have the uber team that I probably should have by now, all that matters to me personally is that I have fun playing and most of the time I do.
PS. I find Giovinco so amazing because of where I play him, and I find him in no way to be a poor man's anything, he's fantastic. His 95 agility, 95 balance and 94 acceleration means he pretty much decimates the majority of my opponents who don't bother marking him properly. 87 ball control and 89 finishing means he's an absolute monster in and around the box for me as well, I'm sure Jesta from here will back that up too, and it's not as if he's a bad player with crap teams because he's probably the best player I've come up against in UT.
