just found a really easy way to look at traits, etc and i found out new traits i never even knew of:
1.
http://www.ultimatedb.nl/
2. Player Databas (not trading)
3. Define your search
4. Click Find
Been doing this for ages, I'm pretty sure everyone else who uses ultimate db has been doing it as well. Makes MUCH more sense than your previously recommended method of going into the standard game mode and looking the regular non UT players.
just found out Xavi has the "injury free" trait which must mean he is impossible to injure or a lot harder to injure than other players.
Not impossible, just harder. From memory Roberto Carlos has it as well, and he's been injured for me a few times in the past so they're not impossible to injure, just less likely to be injured than someone like van Persie.
also just found out there is an "argues with officials" trait, i dont know if that makes any difference? may mean he gets booked for dissent? or sent off more often that others for similar tackles, etc?
It's nothing to do with getting sent off. It's that hugely annoying thing where they get tackled and then they stand up waving their arms around in protest as the play carries on. Usually when you manage to win the ball back and want to pass to them they're still complaining about the tackle that happened 5 minutes beforehand. Someone already answered it though I can't be sure as I'm too cool to read posts on an internet forum.
oh there is a "dives into tackles" trait as well, Mascherano has it and im betting David Luiz has it also, shock horror Luiz doesn't have it, but i found he constantly dove into tackles automatically, may be an error in database
Are you for real? Must be an error in the database because you personally think X players has a trait doesn't make it so.
Cisse has "poacher", "selfish" and "argues with officials", not too sure what selfish does tbh, he doen't like it when other people shoot instead of passing? and does the whole arguing thing i think, that must be it.
Poacher is good at scoring in the box, argues with officials we already answered and selfish means they try and do stupid things like he tries to intercept passes that are blatantly intended for other team mates. For example RW crosses to LW for a tap in at the far post but Cisse intercepts it in the middle even if there's another defender right there or if the keeper is standing near him or whatever. Selfish.
also not too sure what the leader trait does, Alonso and Di Natale have it, must mean they make good captains? may try making them captains from now on.
No idea what the leader trait does, maybe it gives players who share links with them a morale boost or something, it's not reflected anywhere so it's hard to say outside of asking someone from EA.
robinho has the "diver" trait, no idea what that does, maybe he is easier to push off the ball or to the ground?
Diver trait is pretty self explanatory, he's more likely to dive from the result of a soft challenge in order to fool the ref. Pretty crap trait in all honesty.
chiellini has the avoids weaker foot trait, must be why he is awful with over the top through balls
Avoids weak foot hasn't got anything to do with defending or heading, it's to do with which foot they choose when they pass or shoot and it isn't a total conclusion as to which foot they'll use anyway. If the ball is ready for a shot on their left side they won't always automatically switch to the right, it depends on where the ball is in relation to the player, as well as other factors like opponent defenders positions relative to your player. Basically all those times where you're clean through and annoyingly your striker misses left or right because he used his weak goddamn foot, this trait usually eradicates that.
