You are so contradictive it's unreal. Why do you need strength when you can simply:
just float past defenders
just float past defenders
well literally obviously there is a chance, but it's really small.
you and mark are the only ones who got TOTY players in packs, mark spent 500K and got Vidic in his last pack, so he got extremely lucky, in fact both of you did, it's just he got lucky in the sense he made all his coins back and more on top.
there is hardly any chance of pulling a TOTY player they are even harder to pull than an IF, now there are no IF's being released because there is no TOTW this week either. EA have messed it up this year. there are only 3 special cards you can pull from 6pm onwards tonight. whereas before it used to be a minimum of 15.
sold david villa last night for 68k, im now sitting on 118k with plenty to sell yet.
i cant find aguero for cheaper than 80K but ive seen tevez as low as 40K. is he not very good?
You are so contradictive it's unreal. Why do you need strength when you can simply:
because sometimes there are situations inside a box when you need it, or to hold off a defender, surely you must know why strength is useful for a striker? the reason why a lot of people like Rooney, Drogba, Ibra, etc is because of their strength.
obviously strength isnt useful for going past people but when you are past them or trying to hold up play or push someone away then it comes in handy.
or how about the new pull on the shirt? they added that this year, i wonder how well Miccoli copes with that?
He copes with it surprisingly well actually, but then I usually manage to turn my opponent inside out and with the 90 acceleration that Miccoli has the average defender has virtually no chance of catching him if he bursts past.
What you're actually suggesting though is completely unreasonable, please name all of the strikers who have the flair trait, have high acceleration, high agility, high dribbling and high balance, but are also incredibly strong. You'll find the list to be incredibly short. Miccoli is a perfect option for my team, I can't even believe you'd pick Cisse over him. Shows how much you actually know to be honest.![]()
Shows how much I know? You're talking as if Miccoli is slow, he really isn't.
i never said he was, i just said Cisse is faster (top speed) and stronger and taller and can header, so i prefer him over Miccoli.
same with me saying i prefer Cech over Hart, even though some people prefer Hart for some weird reason.
At this rate, even Timmy would beat me 9/10![]()
My mind has just been frazzled at the past few pages..
Anyway, either I'm considerably out of form, not used to the speed of UT or everyone else has turned crazy good and my team is now pants.
I can't seem to get on with UT at the moment at all, team just isn't playing right, it seems like UT is completely speed orientated whereas before I could actually play by passing it about, now it's just who has the faster players seems to just ruin me and it's incredibly irritating.
Think I might go back to Head to Head, it's a more enjoyable speed and can actually pass it around

Wow... things must be bad!
(revenge Timmeh, revenge...)
Pace is still a very important factor, not as important as last year but still one you have to factor in to every player you choose, well i factor it in.
if you have a big budget serie A for the best defence in the game, if you dont Ligue 1 for the best budget defence imo
Indeed it is, just feels as if I can't do anything, passes constantly going to other players etc. Maybe just a bad day yesterday!
My team isn't really *that* slow, I have a Serie A side, it's just built more around a CM and CF that can pass rather than any others that I've tried that can't link up for toffee.
just found a really easy way to look at traits, etc and i found out new traits i never even knew of:

formation is a big factor too and some people don't get on with lone strikers, etc. try and find one which suits your style of play
