Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

right friday is the day when ill be finally able to play bf3 properly
9fingers crossed for no driver issues etc) had to spend nearly 300 quid to get there mind and now im looking to you guys to advise me on some noob friendly servers, or ones you want me to join so you can get free kills thinking of doing a pretty heavy weekend session on it.

damn typo although he lost a finger so now has 7 id actually have to gain a finger somehow unless i found his and kept it in a little box

Just turned it off on metro and noticed that quite a few of the animations where out of sync, yet pretty much everything I aimed at actually died. Co-incidence or not?

Ive gotta help Matt do his SQDM for the gun also, might aswell jump on with us tonight and get it done together :cool:
 
And then encumber the wrath of the never satisfied user base?

Cheating/Hacking/Unfair play will always, and I do mean *ALWAYS* happen. Get over it.
 
There is a LOT of whine on the BF3 forums about hackers being rampant and that DICE are doing little or nothing about it.

Battlelog should make it really simple to pick out and eliminate obvious hackers like TINKYWINKY, there's a lot of others like him, they've already got the persons money so I see only profit in banning them and hoping they buy another account and then banning that account. $$$

As for cheating like this, I just can't see the point. A lot of the fun in online gaming for me is striving to become better, learning from my mistakes and savouring the moments when I pull something extraordinary off. Hacking would eliminate all this, leaving no self satisfaction and only the sick satisfaction of knowing you've ruined someone else's day or satisfaction resulting from some sort of delusional disorder? I dont get it man.

On the plus side I did see a player called _AGALTELY_ or something along those lines who was number 1 a few days ago and a blatant hacker with several thousand points per minute. He seems to have disappeared, I'm hoping that's a ban and not just that he's been replaced by other hackers... :(

i think most hackers aren't good enough or patient enough to get enjoyment from playing normally, so getting cheap thrills from cheating is the best they can do
 
In about 100 hours of bf3, I have encountered about 5 hackers. All blatant aim botters. IMO hacking in this game is not too bad, If there is a blatant hacker and no admin to solve it, just move onto another server.
 
Last night on firestorm, I was chasing enemy soldier on foot. However my team tank got there first and blasted him to his death towards a wall. The poor guy's legs were protruding from one end of the wall while his upper torso was on the other side of the wall lmao :p

I should have taken a screenshot. Hilarious :D
